With the ski being closed we tried dog sledding and fatscoot which were amazing and had some good walks to the waterfalls, the frozen lake and the col de Joux plane...beautiful. "Superb rental near the center of the village. Very convenient to do everything on foot. The chalet has a lot of charm and offers everything you need for a pleasant stay. We enjoyed the chalet, it feels like home-from-home ! It was an important condition with our 2 year old daughter. Thank you !"

"What a fabulous week in Chalet Moccand. After not being able to make it over at Easter for skiing, Alison and Tom were super helpful and we managed to get over for a sunny week in the Alps! "We spent two wonderful, relaxing weeks in summer 2020 in Chalet Petit Coeur. It is perfect for a family of four, with a wonderful kitchen and an incredible sofa! The terrace and outside table is perfect for midday or evening meals when the weather is good. The chalet is incredibly well furnished, everything is there to make the stay as perfect as possible. Beds are just perfect! Two relaxing weeks in this difficult 2020 summer period!"

There was a very nice welcome package, the chalet was spacious (in a smart way) with comfy beds and the bedrooms are downstairs which is really convenient on hot summer days as they stay pleasantly cool. The residence comes with a small pool and the area is great for hiking and outdoor activities. The owners have highlighted a few of their favorite walks. Thank you."

"We were really pleased and comfortable with the apartment and would have gladly stayed on there in spite of the resort being closed down. The restrictions and uncertainty associated with the lockdown and potential border closure were, however, too drastic to contemplate particularly with having the children with us. Had matters been different we could have happily spent a week walking or playing in the snow with the kids. The area is beautiful, and we were blessed with wonderful weather. Andy at Samoens Services was excellent and reassuring, as we left in something of a rush to get to Switzerland. Thank you to everyone in the team for your professionalism and thoughtfulness at, what I am sure, is a very testing time for all of you. I assure you that it will not be forgotten or overlooked when all of this is behind us and things return to normal."

"We have just returned from a wonderful week staying in Chalet Petit Coeur. As described, the chalet is fitted to a high standard and every single thing has been thought of. We are a family of 4 so with 2 teenagers the size was just perfect. Freesat & Netflix were an added bonus and the beds were all wonderfully comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay in this chalet again and would like to mention that communication with the owner before & after was also top notch. Don't hesitate to book, you will love it."

"What an amazing experience! We're a family of 6 from Cape Town who haven't been on ski's before, we were much more at home in the bush/ocean than in the snowy mountains with ski's on our feet. Not any more!!! Chalet Toubkal was everything we've hoped for when we start planning our family ski holiday. It's a spacious, modern, well designed holiday chalet with excellent beds, linen and pillows. The kitchen is better equipped than any home we've stayed in before and the image and memories of the large, well designed and cozy living area, with fire place, hot tub and sauna will stay forever in our minds. All their referrals...Zigzag ski school,Extreme Glisses Equipment, GoMassif transfers turned out to be the best and lastly, the little country village Samoëns and the Grand Massif Ski slopes, are very very special."

It’s about a 7 min walk into the beautiful characterful village centre and there are lots of lovely walks around. The wood burner is great and very efficient.
