12-13 May - Festival du Chapeau - 17th edition - Samoëns
A 2-day theatre festival with 4 performances in a variety of styles.
5-7 June - Gran Fondo & Ultra Raid - Samoëns
Three days of road and mountain bike racing around Samoëns and the Haut-Giffre valley.
19-21 June - Ultra Trail du Haut-Giffre - Haut-Giffre Valley
Several races, from a 1.5km kids race to a 129km ultra tour covering over 9000m vertical gain! Whether competing or spectating, a top atmosphere is guaranteed!
25-28 June - Samoens American Festival - Samoëns
A fantastic weekend of American favourites - line dancing, Harley-Davidsons, hamburgers and much more!
14 July - Fête Nationale - Samoëns & Morillon
An evening of Bastille Day celebrations, including fireworks and live music.
10 August - La Fête des Guides - Samoëns
A day celebrating the wonderful work of the local mountain guides.
14 August - UCI Enduro World Cup - Morillon
A day of world-class mountain biking riding involving the world's best riders.
14 August - Concert Annuel de l'Harmonie Municipale - Samoëns
An exceptional evening of music by the Municipal Wind Orchestra.
16 August - The Vertical Kilometre of the Criou - Samoëns
Watch the best KMV specialists in the world take on the challenge of one of the steepest races in France.
3-5 September - Rally du Mont-Blanc - Samoëns/Morillon
A great weekend of high-level motorsport action in the mountains surrounding Samoëns which is a round of the French National Rally Championship.
17-18 October - Foire d'automne - Mieussy
A huge autumn fair which takes over the entire village! Music, street entertainment, local food, cider-making demonstrations (and drinking!), and a flea market.

Verchaix Market - Fridays, 7am - 1pm
Sixt Market - Mondays, 3pm - 7pm
