Description

Description

As you enter the chalet via the beautiful original farmhouse door, you immediately see the perfect mix of Savoyard luxury and alpine charm.  The owners have sympathetically and lovingly renovated the chalet, maximising comfort throughout, while retaining its true character.  The entrance level provides the huge farmhouse kitchen and dining area, with beautiful wooden kitchen and a log burner, ideal for long relaxing meals around the table. The kitchen comes fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer, oven, microwave, raclette machines, a NESPRESSO coffee machine, generous work spaces, island units and all modern conveniences, making it a definite home away from home. The views are spectacular and uninterrupted, looking directly across the valley, which is truly breathtaking during all seasons - making the most of the valley's sunshine.

The first and second floors are cleverly arranged, to make the best of all of the quirky and characterful areas the chalet boasts. The lounge on the upper first floor is absolutely stunning and comes equipped with a 65-inch flat screen TV, Sonos music system and Apple TV. The large log burner set against a double height wall, provides the focal point of the room, with comfy deep leather sofas and armchairs surrounding. The views across the valley through two sets of French doors and further ceiling height windows are truly unbeatable. Just a few steps down from the lounge is a cosy snug area with sofa bed, wall-mounted screen, Apple TV and game controllers. Also in the snug is an office area, with an internet access point and desk.  This entire open area is set below the farmhouse's beautiful exposed beams, with much of the original timber up cycled to create the true character of the chalet.

Pets are not normally accepted in this property.  Please contact us for advice on pet friendly accommodation.

The chalet is lovely. My family and I had a wonderful time. There is everything here to make our holiday complete.

Howe family, June 2012

From the first email enquiry I sent, you were efficient, helpful and courteous. The chalet looked gorgeous on your website and lived up to our expectations. It is the best equipped we have stayed in from kitchen to sitting room. We had a really fabulous holiday and will definitely come again and recommend you to our friends. Thank you!

Thanks Alison, Tom, Gillon and the rest of your friendly, able team for another lovely Samoens holiday. The good news for you, but bad news for us, is that we've still not yet located our dream chalet/plot of land so will have to rent for another season - so you will be seeing us again!
