Please note that the Vercland ski lift is subject to a closure date one week prior to the Samoëns ski lifts, with a replacement ski bus service in place to the Samoëns telecabine.

You enter Mazot Marguerite on the basement level, where a spacious utility and ski room provide ample storage for skis, outdoor clothing, luggage and up to 4 bikes. A washing machine, separate tumble dryer, and sink are available.
Stairs lead to the ground floor and the heart of the mazot: a beautiful open-plan living space combining the lounge, dining area, and kitchen. Large French doors flood the interior with natural light and open directly onto the private terrace and garden.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge, electric fan oven, four-ring hob, and microwave, while a second full-size fridge/freezer in the utility room offers additional storage.
Positioned to make the most of the panoramic views, the dining area is an inviting place to enjoy leisurely breakfasts, family meals, and evenings together, with fondue and raclette equipment provided. The comfortable lounge features a sofa and armchair centred around a Smart TV, while high-speed Starlink internet ensures you stay connected throughout your stay.

Mazot Marguerite sleeps up to four guests in two comfortable bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 is located on the ground floor and features a king-size bed. A chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe provide ample storage, while a window offers lovely views towards the Criou mountain.
The second bedroom is on the first floor and features twin beds and a built-in wardrobe. A charming private balcony overlooks the garden, with views towards the Vercland Telecabine and piste.
The two bedrooms share a family bathroom on the ground floor, which contains a large walk-in shower, sink, towel radiator and WC.
A cot can be accommodated in bedroom 2, although space will be more limited. Please note that, due to the traditional design of the mazot and its staircase, a stair gate cannot be fitted.
Mazot Marguerite enjoys a private garden with a lawn, offering wonderful views of the majestic Criou mountain as it towers over Samoëns, and even the Vercland Telecabine! The terrace, complete with outdoor dining furniture and comfortable seating, is the perfect place to relax, dine, and enjoy the surroundings. A gas BBQ and sun loungers are also available.
Private off-street parking is available for two cars, with additional free parking located opposite the property.
Mazot Marguerite enjoys a wonderfully convenient location in the picturesque hamlet of Vercland, just outside Samoëns, within 50m of a ski lift, piste, bar/restaurant and ski bus stop.
The Vercland telecabine provides fast and convenient access to Samoëns 1600 and the extensive Grand Massif ski area, with ski pistes returning to the foot of the lift when snow conditions allow.
A ski bus stop offers a free service throughout the day and into the early evening, connecting Vercland with Samoëns, Morillon and other villages throughout the Haut-Giffre valley.
For food and drinks, the popular La Reposette bar/restaurant is also opposite the lift, offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere with lunch and dinner served throughout the season, as well as après-ski drinks.
During the summer, the chalet is perfectly positioned for enjoying the outdoors, with numerous walking, mountain biking and trail running routes starting close by. Road cyclists can tackle the climb to Samoëns 1600 or continue towards the iconic Col de Joux Plane.
The Grand Massif Express lift also operates throughout the summer, making it easy to reach higher-altitude hiking and biking trails while enjoying spectacular mountain scenery.
The centre of Samoëns is approximately 2km away and can be reached by car or via a pleasant walking path. The village offers an excellent range of shops, cafés and restaurants, together with seasonal attractions including an ice rink, outdoor swimming pool, lakes, and the beautiful Jaÿsinia Alpine Botanical Garden. Its historic square hosts a traditional weekly market and is surrounded by charming Savoyard architecture.
Morillon is also close by, offering additional restaurants, shops and the popular Lac Bleu leisure area, a favourite destination during the summer months.

"A real treat! This little chalet met our expectations in every way. The living area is perfectly adequate for four people to relax after a long day on the slopes. The utility/ski room is ideal for storing ski equipment, getting changed, and keeping suitcases out of the way. The bedrooms, although small, have excellent-quality beds, allowing us to enjoy a great night's sleep every night. We enjoyed our stay so much that we're already thinking about booking again for next year!
