Starting out life as a traditional Savoyard mazot, the chalet has been completely renovated to offer 80m2 of high quality accommodation. Local alpine décor and rustic features with exposed wooden beams provide charm, while a clever open plan layout ensures a light and spacious environment. Thoughtful touches and quality can be found throughout and it is immediately obvious that no expense has been spared. From the log burner, to granite work surfaces and high quality appliances in the fully equipped kitchen, top quality beds, and luxurious tartan cushions and curtains which add to the cosy atmosphere. Description
Entering Chalet Petit Cœur, you step into an impressive open plan space comprising of the living area, dining area and kitchen. The focal point in the living area is a cosy log burner, while opposite, a large ‘L’ shaped sofa boasts remotely operated footrests adding a touch of luxury and ideal for post ski relaxation! A TV with satellite receiver provides entertainment, while a high quality Sonos speaker and Wi-Fi are also available.
The impressively spacious kitchen combines rustic wood and granite work surfaces to great effect and comes fully equipped with highlights including an electric fan over, dishwasher, and microwave. It has been thoughtfully configured to provide excellent storage and work surface area.
The dining area is located in front of large sliding glass doors which lead to the terrace and gardens, while also delivering a light and airy feel to the whole ground floor of the chalet. A wooden dining table can comfortably seat 6 guests, while a charming light hanging overhead made using vintage skis reminds you of your alpine surroundings!
A combined washing machine and dryer is also available in the kitchen. For families with young children, a cot and high chair is provided on request.

Chalet Petit Cœur offers 2 fabulous bedrooms spread over two floors, featuring high quality linen and soft furnishings, plus big comfortable beds! Each bedroom can be arranged to offer two single beds, or one luxurious super king size bed.
Bedroom 1, the highly impressive ensuite master bedroom, occupies the entire upper floor of the chalet. Featuring exposed wooden beams, it offers great views over the gardens from a private balcony. The spacious ensuite bathroom features a large bath with integrated shower, sink with LED lit anti-fogging mirror and WC. Ample storage space is offered by a chest of drawers and hanging space. A Sonos speaker and huge super king size bed add a splash of luxury.
Bedroom 2 is located on the lower level of the chalet, a bright a spacious room, which offers wonderful views over open farmland towards the towering peaks above Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval. The room offers two single beds but can be arranged as a super king bed on request. Storage is provided by a wooden wardrobe and chest of drawers. This bedroom has access to a family bathroom, also on the lower level, complete with a large shower, sink with LED lit anti-fogging mirror, and WC.
Exterior
Chalet Petit Cœur is an attractive detached wooden chalet, which benefits from an excellent private garden which is overlooked by a terraced area equipped with table and chairs and a BBQ, perfect for dining al-fresco on hot summer evenings. Samoens’ postcard mountain, Le Criou, towers overhead creating a dramatic scene.
The master bedroom features a private balcony which also overlooks the gardens and offers lovely views over the wooded lower slopes above Samoens.
Private off street parking is available for one car.

Chalet Petit Coeur is superbly located for year round holidays to Samoens and the Haute Giffre valley. Positioned on the banks of the Le Clevieux river, the chalet is just 350m from the village centre of Samoens where you’ll find a great selection of bars, restaurants, local shops, botanical gardens, and weekly market.
For those visiting in the winter months, a ski bus can be found just 50m from the chalet which will take you quickly to the Grand Massif Express telecabine, offering excellent access to the impressive Grand Massif network. A fabulous ice skating rink is just over 10 minutes’ walk from the property and is without doubt a firm family favourite!
In the hot summer months, you will find excellent valley floor and riverside trails leading almost from your door! The more adventurous will appreciate the nearby trails leading up the Criou mountain, a must-do for any keen hiker! The Grand Massif Express telecabine is also open in summer offering quick mountain access for hikers, bikers, and sightseers!

We have just come back from two wonderful weeks at Chalet Petit Coeur. The chalet is beautiful and comfy, a real home away from home. We had everything that we needed for a relaxing stay in Samoens. We've had a wonderful, relaxing 2 weeks stay at chalet Petit Coeur. The chalet is a true gem, very well equipped, and offers all the modern conveniences one could wish for. The generous welcome pack was a nice extra touch and made us feel at home right away. The beds are extremely comfortable. And on top of that, Petit Coeur is very cosy! Special note: we absolutely loved the beautiful fabrics used for the curtains and cushions! To sum it up, we are already making plans for the next visit! The Chalet "Petit Coeur" is very welcoming, really comfortable for 4/5, very well decorated and arranged. It lacks nothing: the bedding and the accommodation are very pleasant...without forgetting Fiona and Lewis who, while discreet, were always available, helpful and, invaluable for any information. Very close to the city center on foot. I highly recommend! Very good stay in this difficult 2020 winter period! We will gladly come back!

We spent two wonderful, relaxing weeks in summer 2020 in Chalet Petit Coeur. It is perfect for a family of four, with a wonderful kitchen and an incredible sofa! The terrace and outside table is perfect for midday or evening meals when the weather is good. The chalet is incredibly well furnished, everything is there to make the stay as perfect as possible. Beds are just perfect! Two relaxing weeks in this difficult 2020 summer period!

As a family of five we spent a fantastic Christmas week at Chalet Petit Coeur. The chalet was warm and spacious, and kitted out with all modern necessities. It is just a short walk into Samoëns village which boasts some lovely shops, restaurants and had a charming Christmas market. The management of the property was excellent with very easy contact with the team and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

About the owners
Having already experienced many happy times in Samoëns at the neighbouring Deux Coeurs, when the chance came up to buy a derelict “remise” (workshop) next door we couldn’t resist and we have really enjoyed renovating it to be our secret family bolthole. We love the relaxed, friendly Savoyarde village with access to so many activities in any season. There is easy access to great restaurants and bars and we would spend more time here if we could with family and friends. The neighbouring, different sized properties allow combinations of numbers and groups and they can be rented together or separately. We have tried to create a family “home from home” feel, so that you can relax and enjoy Samoëns and Petit Coeur as much as we do.
