Chalet Ecrins A23 is a luxury 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment arranged over two floors and encompassing an impressive 101m2 of living space. This classically alpine styled apartment which sleeps 8-10 in space and comfort is ideally located. Set slightly back from the road in private grounds, Chalet Ecrins A23 offers peace and tranquility in an extremely convenient location.

It is a mere 50m walk to Samoëns’ historic village centre with its shops, restaurants and bars, cafés and bakeries. The Grand Massif Express lift which is open during the winter and the peak summer season is only a 10 minute walk way. If you chose to use one of our partner rental shops, ski equipment storage is available at the top or bottom of the ski lift. Alternatively, in the winter months there is a ski bus stop located 150m from the apartment building. From here free and regular buses take approximately two minutes to reach the Grand Massif Express. During the peak winter weeks, there is also a mini train which stops just 50m away, next to the main square.  There is ample private parking at the apartment complex for those guests who wish to drive. As well as a small above ground car park in front of the building, there are two allocated parking spaces in the secure underground garage. Guests can also make use of a private and secure ski locker which is fitted with a boot warmer. Situated on the basement level, both the garage and ski locker are serviced by a lift.

Chalet Ecrins A23 is located on the third floor, accessible via a lift for your convenience. Due to its elevated position, you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and scenery from each of the rooms or either of the two south-facing balconies. The accommodation is furnished to an excellent standard using locally sourced modern and traditional furnishings.

This property is privately owned and has been carefully selected to be in Alps Accommodation’s premier portfolio. It has a Sunday changeover day, however in low season and for last minute bookings, flexible arrival day and length of stay may be available. Contact us for more information.



Chalet Ecrins A23 accommodates 8-10 guests in an impressive 101m2 of stylish and comfortable surrounds. Cleverly arranged over two floors this 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment is oozing with alpine charm. On the entrance level is the spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining area. This light and airy living space, which is furnished with traditional Savoyard couches as well as beanbags, is fully equipped with all the mod-cons, including TV, DVD player, music system, Playstation 4 and Wi-Fi internet throughout. A selection of DVDs and games are also provided for your entertainment.

The large kitchen is superbly equipped with dishwasher, microwave, large fridge/freezer, full size oven, coffee machine and all the cooking and serving utensils you could possibly need. High and low level cupboards provide plenty of storage space, and the chef of the household is assured ample preparation space at either the long kitchen workbench or the additional island. The dining area benefits from a large solid wood dining table with comfortable seating for 10. A south facing balcony is accessed from the living/dining area via French doors and offers a great place to relax after a day on the mountains. There is a second south-facing balcony upstairs, with private access from the Master Bedroom.

The master bedroom, triple/quad bedroom and one of the twin bedrooms are located on the second floor of Chalet Ecrins A23 where you can enjoy spacious loft-style living. For your convenience there is a shared bathroom on the landing as well as an ensuite shower room in the twin. The fourth bedroom is located on the entrance level and benefits from a large bathroom that is also fitted with a washing machine. Additional facilities include a hairdryer and iron and ironing board.

Just off the main living area is a large twin bedroom providing ample storage space either under the beds or in the built-in wardrobe. The bathroom with bath and integrated shower is just next door. This bright, luminous space is fitted with a heated towel-rail, and a large vanity unit that also houses the washing machine. A separate WC is situated just down the hall.

Upstairs you can enjoy loft style living, with a further 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom, the master bedroom, is a spacious double room with its own south facing balcony. Here you can enjoy a quiet moment before bed or a morning coffee before the rest of the household wakes up, whilst taking in views of the surrounding gardens and mountains in the distance. Ample room to unpack is provided for in this room with under bed storage space and built-in wardrobe. The bathroom with WC and bath with integrated shower is situated opposite in the hall. Once again, heated towel-rails are provided for your comfort as well as a large vanity unit with ample space to unpack all of your toiletries.   

Just across the hall from the master bedroom is a triple/quad bedroom, a luminous space with a high ceiling and clean, white walls. The room is fitted with full size bunk beds, a separate single bed and an extra pull out bed for flexible sleeping arrangements. There is also a built-in wardrobe where you can unpack your belongings.

In the hallway adjacent is the 4th bedroom, a twin room with an ensuite shower room. Light cascades through the large velux window in the ceiling of this room, which also has a built-in wardrobe and under bed storage space for all of your belongings. The ensuite shower room has a small vanity unit with basin and a heated towel-rail for your comfort.

There is also an extra single pull out bed that can go in either the double or twin upstairs if required, for more flexible sleeping arrangements. For groups of 11 there will be an extra charge of 100 Euros.



Chalet Ecrins A23 is situated in ‘Les Avoudrues’, the A Block of the Ecrins Etoilés development. The building is set slightly back from the road in private grounds. Guests can access these peaceful and extensive communal grounds which surround the building.

The apartment itself has two south facing balconies, one off the dining area and the other off the Master Bedroom. Due to the elevated position of both balconies guests can enjoy lovely views of the gardens and village surrounds, as well as the mountains in the distance.

There is a small above ground car park by the building’s entrance which is free for the use of those guests with a car. There are also 2 private parking spaces in the secure underground garage on the basement level. The ski locker which is fitted with a boot warmer is also located in the basement. Both the garage and ski locker are serviced by a lift.

Ecrins A23 is ideally located. Set slightly back from the road, which leads into the historic centre of Samoëns, the apartment provides a peaceful, yet central location for year-round holidays.

Chalet Ecrins A23 is only 50m from Samoëns’ village centre, with its many shops, bars, restaurants, the beautiful botanical gardens, and picturesque medieval town square. Here, you can admire the stunning church that features original 13th and 15th century stonework, or wander around the bustling Wednesday morning market.

In the winter, it will take only 10 minutes to walk from the apartment to the main Grand Massif Express lift, which allows access to our impressive skiing domain. Alternatively, jump on the free and regular ski bus that leaves from the stop just 150m away. Or for a novel experience, catch the Septi-train to the lift which stop 50m away and leaves from just off the main square. Another favourite winter activity is ice-skating and Samoëns’ newly built 600m2 ice skating complex is little more than a 5-minute walk from the apartment.

In the summer, a number of great alpine walking and mountain bike trails can be accessed within minutes of the apartment. And road cyclists can attempt the famous Col de Joux Plane climb, which starts just through the square, on the other side of the village. The Grand Massif Express lift also operates throughout July and August, allowing guests easy access to the higher mountain trails and downhill mountain biking terrain.

A lovely stay in a great apartment over New Year! Perfectly located for the slopes as well as the local shops and restaurants. Nine of us slept comfortably with plenty of space and enjoyed being able to cook for ourselves - all the cooking equipment we needed was provided. The Christmas tree was a thoughtful touch and we loved the huge cosy sofa! A big thank you to our lovely hosts - we can’t wait to stay again!

We are Mark and Marie Powell and we live in the UK. Having worked and lived in Geneva we had enjoyed several holidays in the Samoëns area in both winter and summer seasons.
