Apartment Gifframa is a modern and wonderfully comfortable three bedroom property with private garden, terrace and hot tub. This 58m2 ground floor apartment boasts three bedrooms, sleeping up to six people, in a brand new development in the hamlet of Vercland, Samoëns.
The apartment forms part of a small residence and has been finished to a high standard by its owners. It offers a light and spacious feel thanks to large windows overlooking the garden and terrace, while underfloor heating, high-quality soft furnishings and carefully selected decor create a homely and welcoming feel.
Apartment Gifframa is located just 200m from the telecabine of Vercland offering a high speed link into the Grand Massif ski area. When snow conditions allow, a ski piste brings you back to the bottom of this same telecabine. Please note that the Vercland ski lift is subject to a closure date one week prior to the Samoens ski lifts, with a replacement ski bus service in place to the Samoens telecabine.
A ski bus stop, just 200m from the property, offers links to Samoëns village and the rest of the Haut-Giffre valley.
In the private garden, you'll find a large terrace and a small lawn area perfect for kids. While the undoubted highlight is a hot tub offering fantastic views over the valley. A table and chairs for outside dining are also available.
The apartment benefits from one private parking space located directly outside the apartment in a car port, which also has an electric vehicle charging point (free of charge). Further parking is available 150m from the apartment. A private ski locker contains a heated boot and glove rack.
This property is privately owned and has been carefully selected to be in Alps Accommodation’s premier portfolio. It has a Saturday changeover day, however in low season and for last minute bookings, flexible arrival day and length of stay may be available. Contact us for more information.
A ground floor entrance directly opposite the parking area leads you into an entrance area offering good storage for shoes and outdoor clothing. Carry on a little further and you enter the bright, spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Large windows on two sides allow light to flood in, while offering fantastic views over the private garden and the valley beyond.
The kitchen offers everything you could need such as a full size oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, and a raclette machine.
In the living area, a supremely comfortable sofa offers more lovely views out over the valley to the surrounding peaks. A smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi provided by Starlink and a Bluetooth speaker are available, as well as a selection of family games.
In the dining area, you will find a beautiful wooden dining table which can comfortably seat up to 6 people.

Apartment Gifframa offers three wonderfully comfortable and flexible bedrooms featuring high quality mattresses, linen and soft furnishings.
In bedroom one you will find a king size bed which can also be arranged as a twin on request, with ample storage provided by a wardrobe.
Bedroom two offers a similar configuration with another king size bed which can be arranged as a twin on request, and a wardrobe offering good storage space.
Bedroom three is perfect for kids and adults alike with bunk beds, and good storage space.
There is a sofa bed in the lounge for flexible sleeping (on request), but the total number of guests must not exceed 6.
A large family bathroom contains a shower, sink with vanity unit, towel radiator and WC.
You will find a washing machine in the bathroom.
Apartment Gifframa offers a 143m2 private garden with hot tub and stunning views over the valley towards iconic mountains such as Le Criou and La Bourgeoise. On the large terrace you’ll find comfortable seating and a table perfect for dining al fresco, or simply taking in the beautiful surroundings. A small flat lawned area is ideal for young kids and the perfect place to build a snowman!
One private parking space in a covered carport with a free electric vehicle charging point is available directly opposite the apartment. A ski locker with a heated boot and glove rack is also available.
The apartment boasts an enviable location just 200m from a ski lift and piste in the beautiful and unspoilt hamlet of Vercland, Samoëns. The modern and high-speed telecabine, favoured by locals for its reduced queues, offers quick links into the Grand Massif ski area. Our equipment rental partner offers free storage at the top of the telecabine as well as discounts on equipment.
When conditions allow, a red ski piste takes you from the plateau of Samoëns 1600 back to the base of the same telecabine in Vercland. This piste has been improved with the addition of many snow cannons, alternatively you take the ski lift down.
Opposite the telecabine, you will find the popular bar and restaurant, open all day, La Reposette.
A ski bus stop, only 200m from the property, offers a quick and efficient service to Samoëns, Morillon and the other villages and sites of the valley where you will find a huge range of amenities, activities and attractions to be explored at any time of the year. Alternatively, Samoëns village center is approximately a 20-25 walk from the property.
If visiting in the summer, you will find a great selection of hiking and biking trails passing close to the apartment, with the lakes of Samoëns and Morillon accessible in less than 5 minutes by car.

"Lovely chalet, excellent location, thank you for leaving spices, etc which helped with the cooking. If you're a good skier, try to do the Onyx run in Flaine because once you're at the top it's very special! All the amenities worked and it's great to have the Netflix option. Ski Loc Sport 2000 allows you to leave skis and boots at the top of Vercland which makes life much easier! The food at La Reposette is exceptional. Great weekend!"

We have been visiting the Alps in the winter and summer for over 10-years. We first came across Samoëns and the Giffre valley whilst skiing in the Grand Massif and subsequently visited during the summer.
We love the variety of activities on offer in the valley and local mountains as well as the proximity to neighbouring tourist destinations and access to Geneva. Whilst a popular tourist location attracting visitors from around the world, the valley retains a true authentic French look and feel.
We bought the apartment in 2023 and intend to spend as much time as possible discovering the local area and becoming part of the community. We love exploring the extensive walking and biking trails in the summer and, in the winter, skiing on our doorstep, and Portes du Soleil less than 30-mins drive away. The spring and autumn are wonderful seasons for getting outdoors and experiencing the beauty of the Haute-Savoie region.
