Partnership Property Management Roles

Dreaming of running your own Property Management Business in the Grand Massif?

Alps Accommodation are based in the resorts of Samoens and Morillon in the Grand Massif. As a leading luxury accommodation provider, we market a portfolio of over 80 chalets and apartments.  We are looking for partners who have the right to work in France, and are considering/already running their own small business here in the Alps on a year round basis.  The roles would be best suited to 2 people working closely together.  The hours would initially be mostly focused on the weekends, with some flexible hours during the week.  You would be working in partnership with Alps Accommodation, yet directly for the property owners who are normally based overseas.  Training would be provided as well as introductions to the property owners.

What does Property Management entail?

Creating a welcoming holiday environment for guests and covering all aspects of the guest check in procedure. • Responsibility for the full weekend changeover of the units, to include cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, making beds and cleaning windows and communal areas. • Full management of swim spa/hot tubs. • Maintenance duties and running of the properties, from fixing door handles to clearing snow in winter, stacking logs, and gardening in summer. • Organising local trades people if required on behalf of the owners. • Laundering and ironing linens ready for changeover days, or organising the outsourcing of this.  • 24/7 contact for guests arriving and during their stay. • Being a key holder for the owners in the resort year round • Building strong relationships with the property owners and assisting with any of their requirements.

You should be happy getting your hands dirty as cleaning is a huge part of the Property/Chalet Managers role.  This opportunity would appeal to people with exceptional standards and attention to detail, bags of passion and energy, plus strong customer service skills.  Flexibility, a positive attitude, and the desire to go the extra mile are a must at all times.  A conversational level of French would be needed as you may greet French guests.  Also basic maintenance experience is essential for at least one member if a couple.

Please note accommodation is not provided, therefore individuals would need to find their own accommodation, if they do not already live locally.  Whether you are already in France, or considering living in France, there is the opportunity of starting your own business within the field of Property Management.

If this appeals to you and you already have the right to work in France, please send an application email to us.  Please only apply if you are genuinely not afraid of getting your hands dirty and working hard to ensure the guests have an amazing holiday!
