Maison Deux Coeurs is an impressive 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom chalet in Samoens village, sleeping 10/12 over 3 floors, with 150m2 of light and spacious living. The property is situated in a quiet and enviable river side position, yet only 350m or 5 minutes flat walk to the shops, restaurants and facilities of Samoens. The chalet is located just 50m from the nearest ski bus stop, or alternatively a 12 minute flat walk will take you to the Grand Massif Express gondola. If you chose to use one of our partner rental shops, ski equipment storage is available at the top or bottom of the ski lift.
The chalet combines alpine charm with high levels of comfort throughout and wonderful views from each of the rooms. It has south facing gardens with a hot tub all year round, plus a Jet Stream Infinity Pool during the summer, making it a superb chalet for families and groups to enjoy at all times of the year.

Description
This charming property has been thoughtfully furnished and decorated in a traditional, yet modern alpine style. On the entrance level there is a superbly equipped kitchen and dining room, perfect for entertaining large groups of 10/12 people. It boasts an electric double range oven, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, 2 fondue sets, large teppanyaki hot plate/raclette, coffee/espresso machine, microwave and toaster. There is ample workspace and a lovely large wooden table, offering an ideal venue to cook and dine in style.
The lounge area is equipped with plenty of comfy seating, including deep leather reclining sofas at one end and a separate sofa area at the other end away from the TV. The log burner provides a cosy atmosphere in the main living area. There is great home entertainment at Maison Deux Coeurs, with a DVD player and DVD's, satellite TV, IPod dock, stereo, Play Station 3/blu ray with games and the chalet also has a free Wi-Fi network with PC. Leading from the living area is a south facing two-tier sun deck with pergola, hot tub and infinity pool, with lovely views of the valley. The property benefits from boot dryers in the entrance area. The basement has washing machine and dryer. The property has its own private off road parking in the gardens.
Maison Deux Coeurs offers fantastic flexibility when combined with Chalet Petit Coeur which is located directly next door. These properties combine to produce 7 bedroom Maison Deux Coeurs & Petit Coeur, sleeping up to 16 guests and featuring a luxurious hot tub and private garden. This is a perfect option for larger groups or families who would like to spend their holiday together yet retain a degree of independence.

The property consists of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. All the bedrooms are light and extremely spacious, yet cosy with tasteful decor. The first bedroom is on the entrance level and is a spacious king size bedroom with its' own ensuite shower room with wc and sink. There is a further bathroom also on this level, again with shower, wc and sink. Stairs lead off the entrance area to the additional bedrooms. There are three bedrooms on the first floor, two are king size double but can also be configured as twins, each with a balcony. The other bedroom on this floor has a set of full-sized bunk beds. There is a family bathroom also available on this floor, with bath, shower, wc and sink and there is a further separate wc and sink. Stairs lead up to the fifth bedroom in the chalet eves, which can be a king or twin, offering lovely alpine views off the balcony. This is accessed via a mezzanine room with 2 single beds. There is another shower room on this level, with shower, wc and sink. A tea tray is provided in this room.
All of the rooms are finished with quality furnishings and fittings and plenty of hanging and storage. A cot and high chair can be provided on request.
Exterior
The property is set in south facing gardens, which sweep around the chalet on 2 sides. On the third side is a lovely double tiered terrace surrounding the hot tub, available for use all year round, and Jet Stream Infinity Pool with jets you can swim against (summer only).
A car port provides covered parking, with additional off street parking available on the private grounds.

Location
The superbly located Maison Deux Coeurs is the ideal holiday destination no matter the time of year. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, Maison Deux Coeurs is still only 350m from the centre of Samoëns and its many shops, bars, restaurants, beautiful gardens, and medieval square, which features a stunning church, ancient buildings and of course the bustling Wednesday morning market.
During the winter months the stop for the free ski bus is just 50m away, guaranteeing quick and easy access to the main Grand Massif Express lift and our impressive skiing domain. Another favourite winter activity is ice skating and the newly built 600m2 ice skating complex is little more than a 10-minute walk from Maison Deux Coeurs.
In the summer months, guests can access a number of walking and biking trails almost immediately upon exiting the chalet. Attempt the impressive Criou peak, overlooking Samoëns. Or take a gentle, 5-minute stroll along the nearby Clevieux stream and find yourself on the banks of the Giffre river. The Grand Massif Express lift also operates throughout July and August, giving guests access to even more hiking and biking options.
No car is required at this chalet due to its convenient location, but if you do plan to drive be sure to take a trip to Sixt, just 10-minutes up the valley. Here, you can immerse yourself in the spectacular scenery of the Cirque du Fer a Cheval, a national park renowned for its many waterfalls and hikes.

Fantastic week in Samoëns made all the better for staying at Maison Deux Coeurs. Snow and pistes fabulous as ever along with the gorgeous town of Samoëns. After 15 years of skiing in Samoëns we know all it has to offer but our stay in this chalet was a first and we would say one of the very best. Perfect location for town and the lift, all home comforts provided and the space inside meant we could all come together in the evening or choose to find our own quiet space, which was perfect now the ‘children’ are older. Thank-you so much a perfect week.

We had a great week in the 18 person Deux Coeurs and Petit Coeur chalets. Both chalets are pleasant, easy to live in (ski locker, ski boot cupboard in Deux Cœurs, 2 lounge areas in Deux Cœurs, large cooker in Deux Cœurs) and of good quality. The chalets are very close to a shuttle bus stop, which provides access to both the GME and the Vercland lift. Very practical, even with ski boots on, it is very easy to get there. The centre of Samoens is less than 10 minutes away on foot, and you can find everything you need: bakery, butcher's shop, grocery shops, ski equipment rental. The owner and the couple who run the chalets are always available and responsive when we have questions. We recommend these two chalets.

We have recently returned from a fabulous week in Maison Deux Coeurs. We were spoilt by quiet slopes with great snow and brilliant sunshine. Maison Deux Coeurs impressed too - the kitchen is well stocked and the big table adjacent makes for a great cooking/eating space. We loved the hot-tub - after a busy day on the snow it was a real treat. Walking into town was easy. Samoens is a little gem and we hope that not too many people discover it.

We had a lovely Christmas week at Maison Deux Coeurs with three families. It felt cosy and homely with lovely decorations. The chalet is close to the ski bus stop and not too far to walk into Samoens. The village centre had a mini-Christmas market with farm animals for the kids, pony rides and rock climbing.

Very nice chalet, well equipped where you feel very comfortable. We spent 3 dream weeks. The view from the chalet is magnificent, the pool and hot tub are very much appreciated in this hot period, and it is very well situated near the shops. We were also very pleased with the small gift on arrival. The kindness of the owner Mr Black, not forgetting Fiona and Lewis who were always discreetly available and helpful. It is also worth noting - in this delicate period with the COVID-19 - that the sanitary protocol was very well applied. Samoens is also a very pretty town with a great programme of events throughout the summer; there is something for everyone! So we have found paradise! Many thanks for everything!

We had another great week in Samoëns skiing. Kids had a super time, as did the parents and grand-parents. Chalet was in a super position, was quiet but well within walking distance to the village. We are cooks who enjoy doing our own thing, and the kitchen was perfect for us. The pool and hot tub were great for relaxing. Hopefully, we will be back next year all being well! Always our best family holiday. We would definitely recommend for a family or group holiday.

Our two families had a wonderful stay in Maison Deux Coeurs. The children made maximum use out of the hot tub and spa and given the wonderful sunshine the adults were able to sit outside around the hot tub area to supervise the kids (when they weren't in the hot tub too!) The chalet is very well equipped. Beds are comfortable. We loved Samoens and we would definitely return!

We spent a wonderful week holiday in a small mountain village ideally situated close to shops and ski lifts. The cottage is very well equipped, lacks nothing, even the bar is full! If you like walking , a small river passes near the cottage that you can follow to make walk to the village center. We were fortunate to have snow and bright sunshine throughout our stay, the children enjoyed the family holiday we keep a very good memory. About the Owners
This “maison” is owned by two families; The Scotts from Northumberland and The Blacks from Cumbria. When our families starting looking to buy a ski chalet together we came across Samoens and immediately knew we had found the hidden gem. We love the fact that it’s an unspoilt Savoyard village with easy access to the mountains, while in the summer it is quiet and peaceful but still with plenty activities all around for those wishing to seek them out. We have had fantastic treasured family times here and we really want you too to enjoy your time in the house and in Samoëns. Please make yourselves comfortable, and enjoy it as much as we do.
