Accessed via a single flight of stairs, Le Clos F6 provides a warm welcome from the hallway that flows seamlessly into the bright and spacious open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. Light floods this modern space through floor to ceiling glass patio doors and the sunny south-west facing aspect provides views of the quaint village chalets and mountains beyond. A wonderful place to sink into your deep, comfortable corner sofa and enjoy some home entertainment, including TV, Wi-Fi and Sony PlayStation 3.

The sleek, modern-designed kitchen is highly functional providing ample storage and workspace and features a 2m wooden breakfast bar with stools. Other highlights include a 4-ring induction hob, full-size fan oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, complete set of ‘Sabatier’ kitchen knives and a large assortment of quality cooking and baking utensils. Branded crockery and crystal glassware compliment an impressive glass dining table with its clever and simple-to-use extension system, seating 8 with ease. Colourful wall art and modern lighting complete this dining area. For the spring and summer months the extra long and sunny balcony provides 3 outdoor dining settings dotted along its length – perfect for a light breakfast, glass of wine or simply to relax and enjoy the sunny outlook towards the waterfall and Grand Massif ski area.

Apartment Le Clos F6 boasts 4 bright, well-appointed bedrooms, each featuring the highest quality furnishings including John Ryan By Design beds with deep mattresses, fabric headboards and luxurious 600 thread count linen. Drawers, shelving and hanging space provide plenty of storage throughout. The apartment is designed so that the bedrooms are separated from the main living space by internal doors. Traditional wooden and modern electric shutters further assure a private and quiet night’s sleep. All towels provided in the apartment are luxury 700gsm pure Egyptian cotton.

Bedroom 1 is an impressively bright and spacious super king room. Floor-to-ceiling glass patio doors open out onto the large balcony and provides views over chalet rooftops to the mountains and across to the telecabine. This bedroom can be arranged as a twin on request with the use of hotel style zip and link beds.  A large light oak wardrobe boasts ample shelf storage and hanging.

Bedroom 2, a queen room, also provides access to the sunny balcony and alpine village views.  Again the room offers plenty of storage with a wardrobe and chest of drawers provided.  Next-door is the first of two bathrooms, which features a large shower, WC, towel radiator and built-in vanity unit.

Bedroom 3 is a lovely bright and fresh twin room, which sit across the hall from Bedroom 2.  This bedroom can be arranged as a super king on request with the use of the zip and link bed system.  A large light oak wardrobe boasts ample shelf storage and hanging space. Adjacent is the second bathroom, a large modern space featuring a bath with overhead shower, WC, built-in vanity unit and towel radiator.

Bedroom 4 is a cozy double bedroom located near the apartment’s main entrance, complete with a generous oak storage unit offering drawers and hanging space.

A separate WC and washroom/cloakroom, with combination washer/dryer is located just across the hall from bedroom 4, with a door separating this area from the main living.

Le Clos F6 is positioned in a quiet corner of Samoens in ‘Le Clos’ residence, a brand new Alpine style modern apartment complex with landscaped gardens. The Clevieux river flows just 30m away, and yet is only 5 minutes walk from Samoëns’ bustling centre and market square. Accessed by one flight of stairs, the apartment boasts an enviable south-west facing outlook, which exploits the sun and provides views over quaint chalet rooftops to the stunning mountains beyond. The large sunny balcony with its tables and chairs is the perfect spot to enjoy a private breakfast, a glass of wine, or to simply relax.

Off-road parking is available in the above ground car park just 20m from the apartment building, while a private locked garage is available for one car and items such as mountain bikes. There is also a personal ski locker and a further private storage cave for your use.

Le Clos F6 is superbly located in a calm and private setting, yet close to the heart of Samoëns village. It is a mere 400m flat walk to the village centre and market square, with its countless range of boutique shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. The ski bus is only 150m away, providing free and regular access to the vast Grand Massif ski domain just 1km away.  The impressive, newly built ice skating rink is only a 10-minute walk from the apartment, as well as the tourist office and market place which hosts the popular year round weekly market each Wednesday morning.

Many hiking and mountain bike trails are accessible directly from the apartment, which is also just 30m from the picturesque Clevieux river. Stroll along the river for 5-minutes and join the gentle trails following the river Giffre.  A 10-minute drive from the chalet is the stunning  Sixt Cirque du Fer a Cheval.  At certain times of the year up to 30 waterfalls tumble over 2000m high cliffs in this spectacular national park.  

The Grand Massif Express lift also operates throughout July and August and is a short 3-minute drive away or a flat 12 minute walk.

About the owners

We are an Irish/English family with three teenage/adult children, living in Surrey, England. Having fallen in love with Samoëns and the Giffre Valley during our holidays in the French Alps, we decided it was the ideal location for our second home. As our family appreciates the natural beauty of the area, and embraces the wide range of winter and summer activities, we always look forward to returning. We are really happy for others to share our wonderful contemporary apartment in the charming village of Samoëns, and hope you also enjoy the quality and comfortable environment which we have endeavoured to create.
