Lou Cardinales is a light and spacious one bedroom chalet boasting a prime location on the mountainside overlooking Samoëns village. Spread over 43m2 and sleeping up to 4 people (maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under 10 years old) the property has been refreshed to offer a superbly comfortable stay at any time of the year, maintaining many original features.

Perched in an elevated position on the south side of the valley, enjoy magnificent views over Samoëns village, a waterfall, the mountains and the Grand Massif ski area beyond. A ski bus stop 200m from the property, while the village centre remains easily accessible on foot, just 700m away.

To the exterior, a flat garden with lawn, and balcony wrapping around three sides of the chalet are the ideal combination to relax and take in the wonderful scenery.

A parking space is available directly in front of the chalet, while ski and bike storage is available in a locked cupboard which is shared with the neighbouring chalet Falconnieres.

Located directly adjacent and with the same owners, Chalet Falconnieres and Apartment Falconnieres can be added to offer a unique and highly flexible opportunity for larger grounds and families. All three properties can be combined to sleep a maximum of 16 people in 6 bedrooms.

This property is privately owned and has been carefully selected to be in Alps Accommodation’s premier portfolio. It has a Saturday changeover day, however in low season and for last minute bookings, flexible arrival day and length of stay may be available. Contact us for more information.

You enter Lou Cardinales into an entrance area offering good storage space for shoes and outdoor clothing. Moving into the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, enjoy a light and spacious feel thanks to a double height ceiling and a large window offering incredible views over Samoëns village and the valley.

The newly installed, fully equipped kitchen features an electric hob, full-size oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, providing everything you could need.

Set before a large window framing stunning panoramic views, a large wooden dining table is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal.

In the cosy living area, you’ll find comfortable seating with entertainment provided by a smart TV, Wi-Fi and a selection of books and games.

Please note dogs are not accepted in this property.

In Lou Cardinales you will find one wonderful comfortable bedroom featuring a king-size bed with luxurious linen and soft furnishings. Storage space is provided by a small wardrobe, under-bed drawers, and a further huge wardrobe in the living area.

Opposite, you will find the newly installed family bathroom with a large walk-in shower, sink with vanity unit, radiator suitable for towels and WC.

Two fold down chair/beds are located in the living area can sleep an additional two children under 10.

To the front of the chalet, a flat garden with lawn offers more fantastic views and benefits from a sunny exposition perfect for relaxing or playing in the warmer months. A balcony surrounding three sides of the chalet completes in impressive combination.

One private parking space is available directly in front of the chalet, while ski and bike storage is available in a cupboard located on the ground floor of the chalet (shared with the neighbouring chalet).

Lou Cardinales boasts an incredibly scenic location perched on the mountain side above Samoëns village, overlooked by the iconic Criou mountain. It affords wonderful views of the village, the Cascade du Nant d'Ant waterfall, and the Grand Massif ski area beyond.

Despite this, the property is just 700m from the village centre where you will find a wide range of amenities, entertainment, and activities.

In winter, a ski bus stop can be found just 200m from the chalet, offering a quick and efficient service to the Grand Massif Express, Samoëns, and the other villages and sites of the valley. Just 1.9km from the ski lift, it can also be accessed by car with parking available.

In summer, a great selection of hiking trails can be accessed directly from the chalet, from gentle valley floor walks to mountain peaks such as Le Criou or La Bourgeoise. Road biking enthusiasts will be pleased to find direct access to the Col de Joux Plane climb, made famous by multiple editions of the Tour de France. A short walk will take you to Samoëns where there is a huge range of summer activities including botanical gardens, an outdoor swimming pool, pony rides, tennis courts, beautiful lakes and so much more.
