The lockable garage contains plenty of storage space for outdoor wear, bikes and skis and you will also find the boot dryers/warmers here.
Rise one flight of stairs to the impressive open plan living, kitchen and dining area, which offers the height of alpine chic, boasting a staggering 60m2 of living space! One cannot avoid being drawn to the stunning kitchen, the beautiful large dining table and the giant sofa facing towards the spectacular view from the floor to ceiling, double height windows, with sunlight flooding in. The amazing view includes La Cathédrale, Le Mont Buet, Marcelly and Le Criou – the valley’s finest peaks. Pull yourself away from that view, let wine chill for a moment, and relax in the an equally beautiful living area with cosy log burner. An enormous, deep and comfortable leather sofa takes centre stage with a large LCD TV, satellite TV and surround sound speakers, reminding you of the luxurious nature of this property. Moving back slightly you find the beautiful reclaimed wooden table with glass top, bouncing light from the beautiful pendant light fittings above. The table offers a convivial space for large groups to simply enjoy breakfast, or a sophisticated dinner party.
The luxurious kitchen of Chalet Foehn has been thoughtfully designed, with a crisp white gloss finish topped with endless metres of quartz stone worktops. Superbly equipped with catering for large groups in mind, you can tell that no expense has been spared. Boasting an American style fridge/freezer with ice dispenser, two large ovens, a further combination oven and microwave, and a separate and all important wine fridge! Extras such as a coffee machine, toaster, raclette and fondue sets, scales and food processor are also provided. The central island unit provides a superb work space and area to keep the chefs company, with a 5 plate ceramic hob mean cooking for a chalet of hungry mouths is a breeze. Views are offered out to the gardens from this area and a French door leads out to the terrace area, ideal for outside dining.
Set just off from the main living/dining area is a small tranquil corner, with reading area in two comfy armchairs. A great place to open a book from the great selection available in the chalet, or simply take in the wonderful views and atmosphere of the chalet.
