Apartment Falconnieres is a stunning 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom luxurious apartment boasting a fantastic elevated location in Samoens, with truly beautiful views over the Haute Giffre Valley. Located on the lower level of an impressive chalet, it has been newly renovated by it’s talented owners and covering 80m2 it combines elegant and contemporary design with a light and spacious, yet homely feel.

Guests will find quality at every turn, from beautiful designer sofas, to stone tiles, stylish décor and comfortable beds.

The chalet capitalises on it’s sunny position in Samoens as light floods in through huge windows and doors which provide wonderful panoramic views from the pistes of the Grand Massif, to lofty snow capped peaks, to the dramatic cliffs of the Criou mountain. A short walk of around 8-10 minutes will take you to the historic centre of Samoens with it’s numerous local amenities, while a ski bus can be found just 200m away providing a speedy service to the Grand Massif Express gondola.

Set in its own private grounds, the chalet offers several outdoor areas to take in the views, including two covered terraces and a grassed area. A private off street parking area is available behind the chalet, while a ski locker and boot room provides great storage for equipment and outdoor clothing.

Apartment Falconnieres is located on the ground floor of a beautiful alpine chalet. The upper levels are occupied by 3 bedroom Chalet Falconniere, while both properties can be internally linked to create a wonderfully spacious 258m2 5 bedroom chalet.

This property is privately owned and has been carefully selected to be in Alps Accommodation’s premier portfolio. It has a Saturday changeover day, however in low season and for last minute bookings, flexible arrival day and length of stay may be available. Contact us for more information.



Located on the ground floor, you enter Apartment Falconnieres into the impressive open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Capitalising on the properties wonderfully sunny aspect, large windows on two sides offer spectacular views over Samoens while also allowing light to flood in. The living area features a sofa, two armchairs and a large Smart TV provides entertainment. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The kitchen comes fully equipped including a large fridge freezer, fan oven, electric hob and dishwasher, while plenty of work surface and storage space is provided. Located opposite is a stylish dining table which can seat up to 6 people.

A boot room provides excellent storage for outdoor equipment and clothing, while a washing machine is also available.

Apartment Falconnieres provides 2 luxurious bedrooms each offering a light and wonderfully spacious feel and inspirational views. In each room, space has not been compromised and they have been carefully styled by interior designers, complete with luxurious soft furnishings, deep high quality mattresses, beautiful rugs and attractive brightly coloured contemporary décor.  

Bedroom 1 features a double bed which looks out through patio doors over a private covered terrace to beautiful mountain views. A separate dressing room with floor to ceiling wardrobe leads to the ensuite bathroom where you will find an extra large walk in shower, vanity unit with built in sink, towel radiator and WC.

Bedroom 2 features twin beds which can be pushed together to create a super king bed. A patio door leads out to covered terrace while an east facing window gives you a glimpse of the of the mighty Criou mountain. A comfortable armchair provides a quiet corner to relax, while a large floor to ceiling wardrobe provides excellent storage space.

Located adjacent to bedroom 2 is a family bathroom featuring a shower, vanity unit with built in sink, towel radiator and WC.



Apartment Falconnieres offers a large outdoor space ideal to enjoy the fresh mountain air and take advantage of it's wonderfully scenic position. A long and deep terrace surrounds two sides of the property enjoying day long sunshine, plus there is a small grassed garden area to the side. On the easterly side of the apartment, the covered terraced area enjoys morning sunshine, and also provides some much needed shade on those hot summer days.

A private parking area is available to the rear of the chalet while a boot room provides storage space for outdoor equipment and clothing as well as an external lockable ski locker.

Apartment Falconnieres boasts a simply stunning elevated position overlooking Samoens and basks in day long sunshine. Enjoy unspoilt panoramic views to the pistes of the Grand Massif ski area, Samoens village and the dramatic mountains above Sixt at the head of the valley. Despite this, the apartment remains just 8-10 minutes’ walk from the centre of the village where you will find an excellent range of restaurants, bars, local shops, bakeries and weekly market.

In winter, the nearest ski bus stop is just 200m from the apartment and offers a regular service to the Grand Massif Express gondola which links into the impressive Grand Massif network (bus service may end late March - see In Resort Transport for timetable). Alternatively, guests can drive to the same gondola where two large free car parks are available. Free equipment storage is available via our partner rental shops either located at the bottom or top of the gondola, a popular choice for families.

In summer, the apartment is equally well located with hiking trails leading in all directions from close to the property. Whether you are looking for a gentle walk along the banks of the river Giffre, or a full day adventure to an alpine peak, there is something for everyone. The chalet is located on the very road which leads to the Col de Joux Plane, a famous climb of the Tour de France and a must for any keen road cyclist. For mountain bikers there are world class forest singletracks close to the apartment, including those made famous by the Enduro World Series, while an excellent and every expanding lift served trail network is easily accessible. A short walk will take you to Samoens where there is a huge range of summer activities including outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, pony rides, the beautiful lakes and botanical gardens.
