Apartment Les Niveoles A12 is a stunning 3 bedroom loft style apartment sleeping 6 people in great comfort. This bright and spacious 75m2 property is located in an exclusive complex in the historic village of Morillon, providing fantastic links into the vast Grand Massif ski area. The apartment has been thoughtfully furnished to create a stylish and modern apartment, ideal for families and small groups to enjoy.

The apartment is in a perfect location for year round holidays in this beautiful area. In winter, a ski bus stop is located just 50m from the apartment, alternatively a scenic walk of around 7 minutes will take guests to the Morillon telecabine and ski piste (with snow canons). The village centre is a short 5 minute walk, with its bars, restaurants, butcher, supermarket, bakery, and excellent weekly market. During the summer season, including spring and autumn, guests will find a stunning mountain lake a 3 minute stroll from the apartment with many activities surrounding the lake such as an adventure park, pump track, horse riding, tennis courts, beach volleyball and a great restaurant and bar open year round.

The apartment benefits from a large south facing balcony which gives stunning panoramic views from the rugged Criou, all the way round to the snowy slopes of the Grand Massif ski area.  A private ski locker and underground parking are also available.

This property is privately owned and has been carefully selected to be in Alps Accommodation’s premier portfolio. It has a Saturday changeover day, however in low season and for last minute bookings, flexible arrival day and length of stay may be available. Contact us for more information.

This spacious apartment is split over two levels offering an impressive 75m2 of modern living (15m2 of height below 1.8m), plus the large balcony.  The large entrance area is on the lower level and the remainder of the apartment arranged on the upper level. Entering into the apartment on the lower floor, the entrance area provides a spacious and handy area to store outdoor gear, with generously sized built in cupboards.

Climb up a wooden staircase to the upper level of the apartment and your attention is immediately drawn down the corridor towards the vast open plan living, dining and kitchen area, with a glimpse of the stunning mountainside beyond. This area is an impressive space with double height ceilings, plus a spacious south facing balcony positioned beyond floor to ceiling glass windows which offer spectacular views.

To your left, a modern fully equipped kitchen featuring a full size electric oven, 4 ring hob, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. A butchers block provides extra surface space and storage.

The living area is a real delight where guests will find a luxurious corner sofa and two additional leather chairs, all of which are extremely comfortable! A rustic wood coffee table provides somewhere to rest that well deserved glass of wine, with a large LCD TV and Playstation 3 games console providing entertainment for the whole family. A selection of DVDs and Playstation games are also provided, as is free Wi-Fi.

A wooden dining table, positioned below a wall mounted canvas of a stag and attractive pendant lighting, can comfortably seat up to 6 people.  The area offers great views through the large glass windows to the distant slopes of the Grand Massif ski area.

Apartment Les Niveoles A12 offers three bright and comfortable bedrooms with high quality bed linen and soft furnishings provided throughout.

Bedroom 1 is a delightful master bedroom with luxurious king size solid wood bed.  The large built in wardrobe provides generous storage space.  You can enjoy beautiful uninterrupted views of the mountains in the distance.

Bedroom 2 is a lovely twin bedroom with a large velux window with blackout blind providing a fresh, uplifting atmosphere. A wardrobe provides ample hanging and storage space.

The final bedroom, bedroom 3, is twin bedroom which can be arranged as a super king size bed on prior request. Again the room has a velux window with blackout blind. Ample storage space is provided by a wardrobe.

The apartment has 2 modern family bathrooms which are both located opposite the three bedrooms. The first bathroom consists of a full size bath with integrated shower, vanity unit with sink, towel radiator and WC. In the second bathroom guests will find a large shower, vanity unit with integrated sink and a towel radiator. A further WC with sink is available separately.

The apartment boasts a fabulous 14m2 south facing balcony which offers impressive panoramic views from the Criou mountain above Samoens, all the way round to the snowy pistes of the Grand Massif. The balcony’s south facing orientation ensures day long sunshine and is a perfect vantage point to enjoy magical sunsets and sunrises. The balcony is equipped with table and chairs as well as an electric BBQ. The apartment is surrounded by flat communal gardens.

Guests also benefit from private underground parking (2m limit) and a ski locker which could fit 2-3 bikes vertically. There is also a bar to lock bikes to in the parking area.

The delightful apartment Les Niveoles occupies a fantastic position within Morillon village, ideally placed for holidays at any time of the year.

During the winter months the ski bus stop is found just 50m from the apartment. Free and regular bus services run to the main Morillon telecabine, ensuring quick and easy access to the vast Grand Massif ski domain. Should guests wish to enjoy the fresh mountain air, a scenic walk of around 7-minutes will take you to the same telecabine.

Depending on the snow conditions there are some excellent cross-country skiing terrain just 200m from the apartment’s front door. These trails link to a vast network of Nordic trails running all along the valley, and include a breathtaking circuit around the valley's frozen lakes. Walkers can also enjoy these circuits during the winter, by following the designated snow-shoeing trails, as well as sledging areas.

In summer, the stunning mountain lake, Lac Bleu, with patrolled swimming area and beach is only a 3-minute walk from the apartment. In spring, summer, and autumn, the area surrounding the lake hosts many activities such as a very popular pump track, horse riding, tennis, beach volleyball, giant inflatable kids park, obstacle course and the exciting Les Aventuriers du Lac adventure park. Or if you prefer, relax in the sunshine while enjoying the breathtaking views and a refreshing drink at the friendly bar / restaurant located by the lake.

The main village of Morillon, where you will find shops, cafes and bars, restaurants, a bakery and a butcher is a short 5-minute walk from Les Niveoles. Be sure not to miss the weekly market either, held in the village centre each Sunday morning.

About the owner

We are a family who have been coming to the Grand Massif for over 10 years. We love the true authentic French feel of Morillon and surrounding area. We are a mixture of skiers and boarders and love the varied ski terrain with great off piste too. We came back in the summer and loved it. The valley is very pretty with lots of accessible walking, cycling and family activities. John and Fiona.
