The Penthouse is a ski in, ski out 7 bedroom property sleeping 14, in the heart of the traffic free centre of Morillon Les Esserts. The Penthouse is located on the 5th floor at the top of the property, with a lift to your own private landing, leading to over 190m2 of dual aspect living. The apartment features an impressive lounge with warming log burner, deep sofas, cowhide poufs and double height ceiling and windows which generate a bright and spacious environment. Enjoy stunning views from two large balconies, one of which looks directly over the ski pistes towards surrounding peaks.

With all the resort amenities on hand, including restaurants, ski hire, and shops, this is the perfect spot for a luxurious and hassle free holiday. There are stunning views at each end of the apartment, with a large south facing balcony offering panoramic views over the forests and pistes of Morillon 1100, while a north facing balcony takes in unspoilt 180 degree views towards towering peaks and rugged, wild, mountain scenery.

This property is privately owned and has been carefully selected to be in Alps Accommodation’s premier portfolio. It has a Saturday changeover day, however in low season and for last minute bookings, flexible arrival day and length of stay may be available. Contact us for more information.

The accommodation offers loft style living with double height windows, exposed beams and light flooding in. It benefits from a wood burner providing a cosy focal point to the living area, with stylish cowhide poufs and seating on the surrounding comfortable sofas to sit back and relax with the home entertainment system, Bose bluetooth speaker system, Wii with several games, board games, jigsaws, Digital TV with Netflix and free Wi-Fi throughout. A sunny south facing balcony leads off the lounge area through double doors, with outdoor furniture.

There is a fully equipped kitchen area which includes high quality granite work surfaces, 4-ring ceramic hob, extra wide oven, generous fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and ample cooking equipment for large groups. The dining area features a wonderful large solid oak table with modern dining chairs offering comfortable for 14 people, while French doors leading onto the second balcony with magical alpine woodland views. There are also luxury extras like a Nespresso coffee machine, raclette machines, mini crepe machines, and an 8 litre slow cooker. The ski locker is a communal locker and a few padlocks are required if you don't want to leave your skis in the hire shop overnight.

The Penthouse offers 7 ensuite bedrooms spread over this impressive top floor property. Each bedroom contains a stylish mix of beautiful exposed wooden beams, high quality cotton linen, and a splash of vibrant colour, while natural light floods into each room through velux windows. Good storage is provided by a combination of built-in wardrobes and chest of drawers.

Bedroom 1, the ensuite master bedroom, offers guests a king size bed with private access to a large balcony boasting stunning panoramic views over the Haute Giffre valley. The ensuite bathroom features a large bath with integrated shower, vanity unit with sink, towel radiator, and WC.

The stunning views offered by the apartment are extended to the bedrooms, with bedroom 2 offering a tantalising glimpse of the stunning panorama visible to the north of the apartment towards Samoens and the dramatic Criou mountain. While bedrooms 5 and 6 offer views over the pistes and forests of Morillon 1100.

In bedroom 7, guests will find a large HD LCD TV and Blu-ray/DVD player.

The rooms are, as standard, configured as 2 king size bedrooms and 5 twin bedrooms. All twin rooms can be configured as doubles on request.

The Penthouse benefits from 2 large balconies which combine to offer over 20m2 of outside living space. Leading off the lounge area, double doors provide access to the sunny south facing balcony which offers fantastic views over the pistes of Morillon 1100 as they swoop through the forests back into the village. A table and chairs are provided so why not enjoy a morning coffee, take in the distant views towards Samoens 1600 and the Tete des Saix and plan for a fun day on the slopes. The second north facing balcony leads off the dining area and offers stunning open views as the Haute Giffre valley passes before you, rising from beautiful rolling alpine pastures, to rugged ridges, dramatic cliffs and soaring peaks.

A private locked garage is available with parking for one car and equipment storage. Further parking for 1/2 cars is available directly outside the garage.

The top floor Penthouse apartment, which is situated in a residence within the car-free centre of Morillon 1100 Les Esserts, is an ideal winter or summer holiday destination.

Winter holidays at The Penthouse are an absolute dream. Guests have direct access to the pistes, as well as bars, restaurants, bakery, small supermarket, and other shops, which are located just downstairs.

In the summer months, hikers and bikers will be pleased to know that the chair lifts, which allow access to the mountain, are directly opposite the residence. Many walking and biking trails can of course be accessed direct from the apartment, without any need to take the lifts.

The main village of Morillon with its many other amenities, and also Lac Bleu leisure park is just a short drive down the mountain from Les Esserts. A car is recommended for summer visits, as the gondola between Morillon Village and Les Esserts isn't normally running in the summer.
