Chalet Maya

As you enter the chalet you are greeted by the light and airy open lounge and diner with windows and French doors, sweeping 270 degrees around the chalet and offering lovely alpine views. The lounge is equipped with a large corner sofa, plus two additional three seater sofas and poof which together provide ample seating for larger groups. The sofas surround the log fire for those cosy winter nights in! There is a satellite TV and DVD player and the chalet is also equipped with Wi-Fi.  There is access directly onto the large balcony and terraces from the living area.

The large wooden dining area seats large groups comfortably and is open to the contemporary kitchen which is superbly equipped with just about everything you could possibly need.  With new appliances, to include oven, microwave, 4 ring induction hob as well as extras such as a Senseo coffee machine, 2 raclette machines, toasted sandwich machine and pressure cooker.  There is an extensive work top surface, allowing plenty of work space and the large American style fridge-freezer has a small handy pop out door allowing easy access to the essentials like cheese and wine! 

Leading off the living area are stairs which lead upstairs and downstairs to 7 bedrooms.  The 8th bedroom is accessed via the utility area and can also be used as a snug, equipped with twin beds and a second TV with Playstation 3.  Ideal for flexible sleeping options and for large groups to spread out during their stay.

A cot and high chair can be provided on request if travelling with babies or young children.

Chalet Maya offers 7-8 bedrooms split over three levels - one king bedroom, two double, two twin/king bedrooms, and three twin bedrooms.

As you enter the chalet through the main door, there are stairs to the right which lead up to one twin and one double (Bedrooms 6 & 7), which share a family bathroom. The twin room is situated to the right of the top of the stairs and with the sloping roof is a cosy, intimate bedroom which also has access onto the covered upper balcony, equipped with deck chairs to enjoy the views. There are built in wardrobes in this room.

Just next to the twin room is the impressive master double. This is a large room which has a king sized bed, TV with playstation 3 (you will need to bring your own games), and a large leather sofa at the bottom of the bed. There is also a pair of leather chairs to match the sofa, looking out through windows across the alpine setting.  This room also has access onto the upper balcony, shared with the twin room. The double wardrobes in this room offer ample hanging and storage space.

The large family bathroom on this level serves these two bedrooms has a WC, large shower, full sized bath, as well as ‘his and hers’ sinks.

On the lower ground floor you will find the further 5 bedrooms. Bedrooms 1 & 2 are both south facing twin rooms with en-suite shower rooms with WC’s and sinks, built in wardrobes and sliding doors onto the lower terrace. Bedroom 3 is a double, also with access onto the lower terrace and hot tub. This bedroom shares a shower room with the next door bunk room (Bedroom 4), which also has an extra pull out bed to allow for flexible sleeping arrangements.  Bedroom 5 is a double with en-suite shower room and door which leads outside directly onto the terrace.

The chalet offers a large utility area and leading from this room are stairs to the 8th bedroom.  This is a mezzanine style bedroom which can be used either as a snug or twin bedroom and comes complete with a TV and games console.

Bedrooms have large mirrors and plenty of storage space from either built in wardrobes or free-standing cupboards.  All the bathrooms are modern and have a towel radiator and hair dryer. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer located on the upper level.

Chalet Maya is set in a quiet close and boasts extensive balcony and terraced areas leading from each floor. Between the lounge and dining area are sliding doors which lead onto the covered balcony which has a large table for easy outside dining any day of the year.  There are steps off this balcony which lead down to the lower sunny terraces where there is huge table and adequate seating for everyone to enjoy summer alfresco dining. Also on this terrace is the large hot tub which can either be accessed by these steps, or via the door off one of the lower bedrooms. The state of the art hot tub has everything from jets to blowers and even fountains! This lower terrace has plenty of room for children of all ages to play.  There is also a garage/utility area with heated boot warmers and plenty of storage for skis and bikes alike, plus there is private parking for 4 cars.

You are able to park your EV close enough to the property to use your own EV charging cable and standard electrical socket within the utility area.
