We spent a week at Chalet Isabella with friends - 12 of us, 6 adults, 6 teenagers - we had an amazing week. The traditional chalet, with a modern twist, was clean and comfortable. Sara Jane, Jimmy and family were lovely friendly hosts. Nice pool for an evening dip and jacuzzi which we didn’t get around to using. Views are spectacular, an amazing area, great chalet, fabulous summer holiday ! We will definitely visit this lovely chalet again.

Wonderful chalet, fantastic hosts, great food, very comfortable and ideal for families. Jimmy was so accommodating ferrying us to and from the ski lifts.

We had a group of 9 with various accommodation requirements and eating habits, and all were catered for excellently. The welcome was great and the hospitality lovely. The food was good home cooking with a great fondue on the last night, and wine plentiful. Jimmy went above and beyond running us up and down to the chair lifts. Lovely old rooms and open fires.

Friendly, warm, cosy and fun atmosphere. Sara Jane and Jimmy can not do enough to make your stay so wonderful. I've stayed many times over the years the first time when the kids started skiing ! Great for families but also adults only - you won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay in Chalet Isabella. Sarah-Jane and Jimmy will give you the space if you need but also make you feel a part of the family if you want. Lovely home cooked food, and no shortage of wine. Jimmy could not be more accommodating ferrying us back and forth to the lifts giving advice on the best areas for the day, and picking us up tired after a great days skiing. The snow was fantastic for the penultimate week of the season, and although it was quite cloudy nothing could stop us skiing the Grand Massif area which offers lots of runs of varying levels for a week-long stay. Thoroughly recommended.
Chalet Isabella (fully-catered), April 2016
A great holiday at Chalet Isabella. Such a relaxed atmosphere, where everyone was so welcoming. Food and wine was delightful and nothing too much trouble. The chalet was very spacious, with plenty of seating and facilities, plus a wonderful view over the valley. I would definitely choose to stay at Chalet Isabella again.
Chalet Isabella, February 2016
Back home in Amsterdam after a wonderful May holiday on the hills of Verchaix, we miss the place already. The breath-taking view, laid-back atmosphere, clean and comfortable rooms, and homey food make Chalet Isabella an ideal holiday chalet. We explored the area enjoying the lush green of trees, flowery ('Sound of Music’ flowery) meadows, and spectacular streams and waterfalls. The Samoëns/Grand Massif area is a paradise for hikers and hiking starts literally behind the back door of Chalet Isabella. The garden of the chalet is a great for kids and a lovely place to relax at the end of the day. We will definitely come back - the only question is when!
