Villa Monette A20 is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment situated in the ideal location in between the ski lift and the village. The prime location of this modern apartment, which sleeps 6-8 in light and spacious surrounds, offers great convenience to guests. It is an ideal choice for your ski or summer holiday.

Less than 500 metres or a 5 minute walk away is the Grand Massif Express ski lift. If you chose to use one of our partner rental shops, ski equipment storage is available at the top or bottom of the ski lift. Alternatively, in the winter months you can catch the free and regular ski bus which stops immediately opposite the Villa Monette building. Villa Monette A20 is the perfect base for all activities, winter and summer. It is only a short walk from the apartment to the lakes and river which are nearby to the outdoor swimming pools (summer) and sports centre. You are also only a 1 minute stroll away from the beautiful historic village square with its many cafes, shops and restaurants.

Villa Monette A20 is decorated and furnished in a modern alpine style offering comfort and style to guests. Accessed via a lift, the apartment is situated on the third floor of the building and its elevated position affords views down the valley and across to the mountains from the private westerly-facing balcony. There is a private allocated parking space in the secure underground garage and additional parking in the above ground public car park located by the building’s entrance. A private ski locker, which can also be used to store bikes, is available for your use. Both the garage and ski lockers are located in the basement which is serviced by the lift.

This property is privately owned and has been carefully selected to be in Alps Accommodation’s premier portfolio. It has a Sunday changeover day, however in low season and for last minute bookings, flexible arrival day and length of stay may be available. Contact us for more information.



Villa Monette A20 is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment sleeping 6-8 guests in modern and comfortable accommodation. The property is arranged over two floors and covers 83m2. On the entrance level is the large open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas. There is also one bedroom, a double bedroom, located on this level which has a private ensuite shower room with wc.  Just along the hallway with large built in cupboards, you will also find a separate wc and family bathroom.

The apartment entrance level offers a spacious vaulted loft style living area with a leather corner sofa which can be used as an additional double bed for flexible sleeping arrangements.  There is a further seating on the long leather poof.  The lounge is equipped with an smart television, satellite TV and DVD player. A selection of DVD’s are provided for your entertainment. Double French doors lead off the living area onto the apartment’s private balcony where you can enjoy the views along the valley with an aperitif or light meal in the warmer months.  The large glass dining table situated in the open plan living area seats up to nine people. The kitchen is fitted with ¾ size fridge/freezer, a 4 ring ceramic hob, combination oven/microwave, a dishwasher and coffee machine. There is also a washing machine in the family bathroom.

Take the stairs you can enjoy further loft-style living in the two additional joining bedrooms.  The first is a twin is a mezzanine style room, the second bedroom, accessed via the twin, has a king-size bed.  

There is also free Wi-Fi access throughout the apartment.  

In addition to its own secure underground parking space, Villa Monette A20 benefits from a private ski locker, which is large enough to store bikes - a great addition for the warmer months! Guests can also enjoy the convenience of an on-site supermarket; a Sherpa supermarket is located in the residence.  A cot and high chair can also be provided.

Villa Monette A20 offers three bedrooms split over two floors - one king bedroom, one double, and one twin bedroom.  Each offering hanging and storage space and each are decorated with a modern alpine style.

Bedroom 1 is located on the first floor. This double bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom fitted with shower, WC and a single basin vanity unit.  The room enjoys a vaulted ceiling and built in storage with hanging and shelving.

The second bathroom is located in the entrance hallway adjacent. This is fitted with a bath with integrated shower, and a large vanity unit with basin. This is also where the washing machine is located. Heated towel rails are provided in both bathrooms and for your convenience there is a second, separate WC located in the apartment’s entrance.

Moving upstairs you will find a further two bedrooms. Enjoy loft-style living in these two rooms which are located in the eaves of the building where light comes in through velux windows in the sloping ceiling. Bedroom 2 is a twin, it is open mezzanine style with direct access to the stairs. A chest of drawers and hanging rail are provided.  Walk through this bedroom and you reach the king size bedroom number 3 with the bed positioned under the eaves and storage provided with a wardrobe.  Please note the upper bedrooms have some areas of restricted head height.

The lounge area has a double sofa bed in the living area, allowing this apartment to sleep up to 8 people.  



Villa Monette A20 has a westerly-facing balcony that leads off the main living area through double French doors. Enjoy a meal or an aperitif in this outdoor space during the warmer months. A small dining setting with table and chairs is provided.

In addition to its own secure and private underground parking space, Villa Monette A20 has its own private ski locker, which serves as a bike storage locker in the warmer months. It is large enough for 2-3 bikes if stored upright (1m deep x 73cm wide). Both the ski locker and underground garage are located on the basement level which is serviced by a lift.

A small supermarket is located in the Villa Monette development, which also provides additional aboveground parking should you require.

Villa Monette A20 is ideally located right in the heart of Samoëns, offering guests exceptional convenience for their year round mountain holidays.  

The apartment is less than 500m or a 5-minute, flat walk from the main Grand Massif Express lift. Or if you prefer, jump on the free and regular ski bus that stops straight across the road from the apartment complex – it takes just 1 minute! Samoëns’ newly built, 600m2 ice skating complex is also only a 5-minute, flat walk away.

In the summer months, a number of hiking and mountain bike trails can be accessed within minutes of the apartment, and the beautiful Bois Aux Dames lakes and leisure complex are also only minutes away. Throughout July and August, the Grand Massif Express lift is open for guests to enjoy even more mountain fun. Take a hike up to the summit, or on certain days catch the Chariande Express chairlift. Or test your skills on the adventurous downhill mountain bike trails.

Samoëns’ bustling village centre is a mere 200m from the apartment. Enjoy the many shops, bars and restaurants, our beautiful botanical gardens and the medieval square with its stunning church that still features original 13th and 15th century stonework. Just downstairs from the apartment you will find a small supermarket, which also sells fresh bread and croissants. Villa Monette A20 truly is the epitome of holiday convenience.

About the Owners

Sanjay and Sarita visited the area in 2003 when their children were toddlers, and instantly fell in love with the charming village of Samoens, and wonderful ski and summer opportunities available. With the added convenience of the short transfer from Geneva airport and the easy drive from the UK, they were very excited to acquire A20 Villa Monette as soon as it was built in 2005. They have been regular visitors ever since, and the toddlers have grown up, and are still enjoying all that Samoens and the Grand Massif has to offer. Whether it is the thrilling skiing, cycling, or the long walks through the stunning mountain scenery, there is always something for everyone. The local businesses are welcoming to visitors, and there are many amazing restaurants in the village, and in the ski area, to keep the whole family happy.
