Situated in a prestigious alpine-styled MGM complex in Samoens, Chardons Argentes H10 is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment accommodating up to 7 guests in comfort. Arranged over 110m2 of split level chalet living, the property is filled with character and charm. Nestled in a quiet corner of Samoëns, yet conveniently located for all the village amenities, a major highlight of the Chardons Argentes residence is its “residents only” indoor swimming pool. The pool is nicely located in the building directly opposite this property.

Chardons Argentes H10 provides a stylishly warm, and welcoming interior that is further enhanced by its gorgeous fireplace.  The apartment also benefits from two south-facing balconies, which afford lovely views over neighbouring chalet rooftops to the mountain vistas beyond.

Free and regular ski buses leave from the stop located just a 1-minute walk away, and the village centre, with its many shops, bars and restaurants is only a 5 minute walk. The tourist office is located 400m away, as is the impressive ice-skating rink.

Guests can make use of the flat and extensive gardens, private underground parking facilities, a communal bike store, and personal ski storage. The apartment is a great summer option too, as it is located just 5-minutes’ walk from the stunning lake, adventure park, tennis courts, outdoor swimming pools with waterslide, and so much more!

Situated on the second and third floors of a charming alpine property, the apartment covers an impressive and extremely spacious 110m2 (with 18m2 below 1.8m high).  Conveniently positioned just across from the residents’ only swimming pool, Chardons H10 is accessible via stairs or a lift, which also services the underground carpark. As you enter the wide and welcoming corridor, light fills the open-plan living, kitchen and dining rooms ahead of you. To your immediate right, a large storage closet with ample hanging space and shelving, perfect for storing your winter coats, hats and gloves. To your left, the visitors’ WC and laundry, equipped with separate washer and dryer. Climb the winding staircase to the apartment’s upper level, and two of its three well-appointed bedrooms and also bright family bathroom. The third, master bedroom with ensuite is located on the apartment’s ground-floor.

A central feature of the main living space is the glorious fireplace. Sit back and relax in one of two divine sofas and take in the bright, open space, and lovely décor around you. Everywhere you look, little glimpses of the care and attention the owners have taken to provide you with what truly is a home away from home feel; rich, soft furnishings, original artwork painted by the owner, books, games, and an impressive, Persian floor rug provide a sense of warmth and welcome. The lovely coffee table, also made by the owners from a recycled ship’s rudder found on a beach in Scotland, is another unique feature.
There is also plenty of modern luxury, with Wi-Fi Internet throughout, wireless Bluetooth speakers, TV with DVD player.

Glass sliding doors lead out onto your downstairs balcony, which is equipped with deck chairs and an outdoor dinner setting. A second south-facing balcony is located upstairs. The lovely round, wooden dining table, with comfortable seating for 7, enjoys the same views as the lower balcony. And evening meals are sure to delight as budding chefs will be able to cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen. Features include a full-size fridge-freezer, electric oven and 4-burner hob, microwave, dishwasher, plenty of crockery and glassware, and all the mixing, baking, slicing, dicing, prepping and serving utensils you could possibly need. This kitchen has everything, including full set of knives, a Le Creuset crockpot, Fondue set, electric weighing scales, food processor and recipe books. Breakfasts will be equally pleasant as you enjoy a fresh pastry with your morning coffee, professionally brewed with your luxury Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother.

Chardons Argentes H10 also benefits from a private ski locker and parking space, situated in the secure underground carpark. Additional parking is available aboveground in the residents only carpark.

Chardons Argentes H10 boasts three thoughtfully designed bedrooms and two stylish bathrooms. The apartment’s home from home feel is carried through to each room, with bedside lamps providing warmth, and fresh, crisp white linens and soft towels, a touch of luxury. Additional towels for pool use are also provided. There is ample storage in each room, and wall-mounted, individually regulated radiators assure your year-round comfort. The rooms are all south-facing, with bedrooms 2 & 3 on the upper level benefiting from a full-length private balcony, which overlooks the village and mountains beyond - the perfect spot to sit and take in the views.

Bedroom 1, the king-size master bedroom, is located on the apartment’s ground-floor. This lovely room is spacious in its design and features built-in wardrobe with integrated shelving unit, an additional chest of drawers and a pleasant view across to the mountains. It is the ideal space to enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep, and also affords its own large and bright ensuite shower room, featuring sleek, single basin stone-look vanity unit, WC, illuminated shaving/makeup mirror, and heated towel rail for your comfort.

Bedrooms 2 & 3 are both located on the apartment’s upper level, their clever loft-style design incorporating sloped ceilings while still maximising space. Bedroom 2 is a charming twin room featuring a standing wooden coat rack with hangers, bedside tables and lamps and a chest of drawers. Bedroom 3 is another, larger twin room, which can also be configured as a triple room for your convenience and flexibility. It features a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps, and two lovely little wooden chairs with padded seat and back rest.

Bedrooms 2 & 3 share a bathroom immediately opposite on the landing. It is fitted with bath and integrated shower, WC, large stone-look vanity unit, and a heated towel radiator. This simple but luxurious space is set off by the huge overhead Velux window - subtle blue tiling the perfect complement to the sky above.



Chardons Argentes residence was constructed by the prestigious luxury chalet style developers - MGM.  The property offers two south-facing balconies, one on the apartment’s first floor, and the second accessed from either bedroom 2 or 3 upstairs. Both balconies overlook the communal landscaped gardens and provide views across neighbouring chalet rooftops to the mountains beyond. The fabulous indoor swimming pool, available exclusively to residents, is another major highlight. Open year-round, the pool also features an outside terrace, perfect for sunbathing in the warmer months. The 6m x 12m swimming pool is situated in the building immediately opposite Chardons Argentes H10, and so is less than a minute’s walk from the apartment.  Changing facilities and a toilet are conveniently located in the swimming pool complex, and as an added luxury the owner has provided additional swimming towels for your use. Apartment Chardons Argentes H10 also benefits from its own private underground parking space, and personal ski locker. Plenty of additional above ground parking is available in the residents only carpark and there is also a communal bike store available for your use.

The Chardons Argentes residence is ideally located, offering guests year-round peace and tranquillity within minutes of all the convenience of the village. Nestled in landscaped gardens at the end of a quiet Samoëns street, Chardons H10 is your perfect holiday destination in the Alps.

Samoëns’ tourist office is a mere 400m walk from the apartment, and the historic village centre is only 400m away (a flat 5-minute walk). Enjoy the many shops, bars and restaurants, stroll through the beautiful botanical gardens, or simply admire the ancient buildings and stonework in the medieval town square. Be sure to take in the bustling Wednesday morning market too!

In the winter months free and regular ski buses leave from a stop just 50m away, and in a matter of minutes will transport you to the Grand Massif Express telecabine where you can access our vast skiing domain. Samoëns’ impressive ice skating rink is a mere 400m stroll away, offering guests another favourite winter pastime.

In the summer, walk the pleasant 400m to the beautiful Bois Aux Dames lakes and leisure facilities. Here, you can enjoy the swimming pool, tennis courts, golf driving range, horse riding, fishing, climbing adventure park, and more. The Grand Massif Express lift is also open from mid-June and throughout July and August, allowing guests access to the ample walking trails, adventurous downhill MTB terrain, and stunning mountain scenery.

A large supermarket is situated just a short 2-minute drive from the Chardons Argentes residence. Or you may prefer to walk, in which case it will take you about 10-12 minutes.

What a beautiful apartment! It feels like home straightaway - the most comfortable bed. It snowed like mad yesterday and through the night and we woke up to the most beautiful white scenery. This has made my week - love Samoens and hope to come to this chalet again. Thanks for sharing your place!

About the owners

"We are an English couple from London (David & Monica) who fell in love with the village of Samoëns several years ago. Having spent many happy holidays in Samoëns, we finally took the plunge and bought our own property off-plan in 2011.  Until 2017 the apartment had only been used by family and friends for winter skiing and summer walking and biking.  It has proved to be a treasured family home in this delightful part of the world and we are now ready to share it with our guests for a few weeks a year. We hope that you enjoy the apartment as much as we do and fall in love, as we have, with the mountains, the lakes and the beauty of the village of Samoëns."
