Situated in a prestigious alpine-styled chalet complex, Les Chardons Argentés E2 is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, luxury apartment arranged over two floors.  With the added benefit of a mezzanine snug/sleeping area and a pull out bed in the twin room, it sleeps 6/9 in space and comfort without having to use the lounge. A major feature of the apartment is the “residents only” indoor swimming pool, which is open year-round. Nestled in a quiet corner of Samoëns, the apartment's tranquil yet convenient setting is another attraction, affording great views of the mountains surrounding the village.

Only a 5 minute stroll to the village centre, with its many shops and restaurants.  The The tourist office and brand new ice rink are within 400m and the nearest free ski bus stop is 50m. Alternatively, the Grand Massif Express Gondola is an easy 10 minute walk, and if you chose to use one of our partner rental shops, ski equipment storage is available at the top or bottom of the ski lift. Les Chardons Argentés E2 is also an ideal summer holiday choice. The property is only a 4-5 minute walk to Samoëns’ beautiful lakes, adventure park, tennis courts, and outdoor swimming pools and slide. Within the Chardons Argentés premises itself, guests can make use of two private underground parking spaces, personal ski storage and communal bike store, as well as the landscaped gardens.

Les Chardons Argentés E2 is accessed via a private staircase to its first floor entrance. The spacious interior is stylish and modern, incorporating high quality, locally sourced furnishings which add to the luxurious alpine charm.

This property is privately owned and has been carefully selected to be in Alps Accommodation’s premier portfolio. It has a Saturday changeover day, however in low season and for last minute bookings, flexible arrival day and length of stay may be available. Contact us for more information.



Les Chardons Argentés is a beautifully decorated space offering modern and comfortable accommodation, cleverly arranged over two floors. The open plan design of the dining, kitchen and living area makes for a spacious and very convivial environment. The dining area comprises an extendable table with seating for up to eight. Or if you prefer you can dine on the large balcony. Here you can enjoy views of the mountains and pistes in the distance as well as the landscaped gardens and private grounds of the neighbouring farmhouses.

Two large stylish sofas provide comfortable seating in the lounge, which is equipped with a large flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod docking station/cd player/radio and Wi-Fi. A selection of DVDs, playing cards, some books and board games add that ‘homely’ touch.

The superbly equipped and spacious kitchen has a full-size fridge/freezer, oven and microwave, dishwasher, plenty of workspace, as well as special items such as fondue and raclette set for cheese lovers! You are sure to find all you need to prepare your scrumptious meals each day.

Also on the entrance level is the stunning master ensuite king-sized (or twin) bedroom with luxurious touches. There is a shower room and WC also provided on this floor. A spacious foyer with fantastic shoe storage and hanging space, ideal for ski wear, along with a seperate wardrobe mean storage is not a problem.

Moving upstairs, you can enjoy loft-style living with two further bedrooms, both flooded with light from their large velux windows, and a shared bathroom with bath and shower. In this bathroom you will also find your washing machine/dryer. On the landing is a smaller open snug / mezzanine with a low ceiling, equipped with DVD player and Wii. A small selection of games is provided. The two single fold out sofa couches in the snug/mezzanine offer flexible sleeping arrangements.

This truly is the perfect option for family holidays or for a group of friends. Les Chardons Argentés E2 provides everything needed to ensure you have a fabulous and memorable experience in Samoëns.

Les Chardons Argentés E2 boasts three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The owners have carefully sourced their beautiful furnishings from a local boutique, to ensure rooms are stylish and luxurious. The king-sized master bedroom (or twin), with its contemporary ensuite shower and WC is situated on the entrance level and affords a terrific view out onto the Criou, a truly majestic sight to wake up to each morning. A further shower room with WC is situated immediately to the right of the entrance to the apartment.

Upstairs you will find a further two bedrooms, the first of which can be made up as either a twin or king, and the second which is a twin. The twin room has a pull-out bed and can therefore host a third person. These rooms share a spacious bathroom with bath and shower. There is also a large vanity unit with ample space for all your toiletries. All three bedrooms are fitted with iPod docking stations and also provide space to unpack all of your belongings. For flexible sleeping arrangements two single sofa beds are available for your use. All beds have sufficient storage space underneath more suitcases and other larger items.



The apartment has a large balcony on its first floor, which overlooks the landscaped gardens and private grounds of the neighbouring chalets. The balcony also provides you with uninterrupted views to the mountains and pistes in the distance. We must not forget to mention again the fabulous indoor swimming pool, which is available only for the private use of residents. Open year round, there is also an outside terrace for sunbathing in the summer months. The 6m x 12m swimming pool is situated in the building immediately opposite the above ground parking, less than a minute’s walk from Les Chardons Argentés E2. There are changing facilities and a toilet in the swimming pool complex, and towels are included with Chardons Argentes E2. The apartment has two private underground parking for two cars, and there is also a personal ski locker and a communal bike store available for your use.

The Chardons Argentes residence is in an ideal location, offering guests absolute convenience but in a tranquil setting. Situated at the end of a quiet Samoëns street, Chardons E2 is the perfect year-round holiday destination.

The historic Samoëns village centre is only 400m away, or a flat 5-minute walk. Here, you can enjoy the many shops, bars and restaurants, stroll through the beautiful botanical gardens, or simply admire the ancient buildings around the medieval town square. Don’t forget to visit the bustling Wednesday morning market.

The village tourist office is also 400m away. In the winter months the free and regular ski buses leave from just 50m away, taking you to the main Grand Massif Express lift and access to our impressive skiing domain in a matter of minutes. Samoëns’ newly built ice skating rink is also a mere 400m stroll from the property.

In the summer, a short 400m walk will take you to the beautiful Bois Aux Dames lakes and leisure facilities. Make the most of the weather and enjoy the summer pools, tennis courts, golf driving range, horse riding, fishing and more. The Grand Massif Express lift is also open throughout July and August, allowing guests access to the ample walking trails, adventurous downhill mountain biking terrain, and not to mention stunning scenery of the mountains in summer.

A large supermarket is situated just a short 2-minute drive from Chardons E2. Alternatively, you can walk to it in about 10-minutes.

Thank you for the privilege of staying in your wonderful apartment. It was perfect for our needs; a great location, and the facilities were first class. We have no complaints, only the utmost praise. This was our second skiing holiday to Samoens within 10 months, and I’m sure we will be back. We may even visit in the summer.

We loved staying at Chardons Argentes.  The chalet was fantastic, it has loads of space and fully equipped with everything we needed. The kids loved the pool which was spotlessly clean and the swim towels were great to have.  The views were beautiful too. Samoens is such a vibrant town plus there’s so much to do in the area.  We hope to come back someday.  Thank you.

We had a wonderful two weeks in Samoens.  Chardons Argentes E2 is fantastic - extremely comfortable, and so well situated!  We loved exploring the area with our two girls (aged 10 and 8) - hiking in Fer a Cheval and Joux Plane, whitewater rafting, canyoning, zipwiring through the trees and so much more!  We are already talking about how soon we can head back!  Tim and the team were great, and truly we couldn't have hoped for a better holiday - huge thanks to Sahra for letting us share this fantastic apartment!

We really enjoyed our time in Apartment E2 Les Chardons Argentés. The apartment is beautifully equipped and very comfortable. It really worked very well for our party of 7. We were a little concerned regarding the distance to the Gondola, however the free bus service was very convenient and punctual and I would happily use it again. The Swimming Pool is a wonderful facility and the kids really enjoyed a swim after a day skiing. Samoens is a great family resort with some lovely restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay in your chalet – very comfortable for a family of 6 and a baby. The location was great being a few minutes from the town centre and the market, another big advantage was having the ski bus stop so close to the chalet. We were also very lucky with the snow conditions in having beautiful deep powder on arrival and glorious sunny weather for the two weeks.

We stayed for a week in this lovely apartment with 4 other friends. The apartment was large, well-equipped and comfortable. The beds and bedding was great, and the lounge area saw us relaxing most nights cuddled on the couches. The ski bus stop was just outside and easy walk to the village. We had an amazing stay at Chardons Argentes E2, it is spacious and beautifully furnished. It more than comfortably housed ourselves, the in-laws and our 18 month old son. The bedrooms are really comfortable and the beds are huge! It was an easy 5 minute walk into Samoens which is a beautiful village. The ski bus stopped at the end of the road. The underground parking and pool were a real bonus! We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this beautiful apartment and would love to come back!

We have just returned from a week stay and wanted to give a well earned review. The location is superb. The apartment is wonderful could not fault it at all, well equipped with everything you could need. The owner has been amazing in her communications arranging everything we needed. We arrived late at night and were overjoyed with the location and then we entered the apartment and it was simply stunning and to top it off we had been left a welcome pack containing such things as bread, butter, cheese, jam, milk, wine but to name a few things. Worth every penny and will be back next year.

I was in a group of 8 staying at Les Chardons Argentes E2 in Jan 2014 and would recommend it for anyone wanting a great place to stay in Samoens. When we arrived at the apartment we were all very impressed. It was spacious and very obvious the owner takes pride in it. The pictures and write up are a very good representation of what it is actually like. Both the kitchen and living area are more than big enough for 8 people and the cooking facilities are very good.The free ski bus stop is only a short walk away and it only takes a few minutes to get to the centre of town. The swimming pool was usually empty and a great luxury to have after day skiing. The owner of the apartment was very accommodating and set up all of the beds set up as singles to our request and was easy to contact her throughout the booking process. We arrived early and it was arranged for the apartment to be cleaned ahead of schedule for us. We're hoping to go back again next year!

About the owners

On our first holiday to Samoens, we found it charming, friendly and accessible with excellent skiing. Off the slopes, Samoens is a place of genuine character, proud of its traditions, yet still enormously welcoming. We bought our apartment off-plan, so we could put in an extra shower room, a bigger kitchen where two (or more!) people can cook at the same time, a full-sized oven and a large fridge/freezer. We love the apartment’s quiet outlook yet you can walk to the restaurants and shops in minutes.  It is also perfect for summer. The scenery is spectacular and there is so much to do.  The balcony catches the evening sun: perfect for an aperitif or meal at the end of a busy day.
