Chardons Argentes C5 is a 3 bedroom apartment in a luxurious and prestigious MGM complex. It is located in a prime location, within the beautiful village of Samoens. This spacious apartment sleeps up to 8 people in great comfort. With a private 'residents only' swimming pool, open all year round, it offers the perfect place to holiday at all times of the year. Nestled in a quiet westerly corner of the residence, amongst the beautiful wood and stone buildings, the apartment offers wonderful views and a great deal of peace and privacy.
A scenic 3 min walk will take you to the very centre of Samoens, with it's shops, cafes and restaurants. The tourist office and brand new ice rink are within 150m and the nearest free ski bus stop is 50m. Alternatively, the Grand Massif Express Gondola is an easy 10 minute walk, and if you chose to use one of our partner rental shops, ski equipment storage is available at the top or bottom of the ski lift. Should you chose to visit Samoens in summer, the outdoor pools, lakes, tennis courts and adventure park can be reached by a 4-5min walk of the apartment.
The apartment boasts 2 private underground parking spaces, ski storage, and a communal bike store which can all be accessed from the apartment by a lift.

This luxurious apartment has been thoughtfully arranged over 2 floors and gives a wonderfully spacious and bright feel. It offers 90m2 of accommodation, with 10m2 under 1.8m head height. As you enter the apartment you are immediately impressed with the vast space offered by the open plan living, dining and kitchen areas. In the entrance hallway guests will find plenty of storage with built in cupboards and a large shoe storage unit. To the right of the open plan area is a fully equipped kitchen with 4 ring hob, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and Nespresso coffee machine. Also off the living area, are double French doors leading onto the balcony equipped with table and chairs. Guests will also find a combined washing machine and dryer. In the dining area rests a large dining table which will host 8 hungry guests in complete comfort. Following a delicious home cooked meal, the deep and comfortable leather sofas of the cosy living area provide a lovely area to relax and unwind. Entertainment is supplied by a stylish LCD TV with a Wii games console and games in addition to a selection of family games and books. Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment.

Chardons Argentes C5 offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom, a very spacious king size, is located on the entrance level of the apartment. This bedroom benefits from generous built in wardrobe storage, and a fantastic view over Samoens to the Criou mountain beyond. Opposite, you will find a bathroom consisting of shower, sink with vanity unit, towel radiator, and plenty of storage provided by a stylish wall mounted unit. A separate WC is located next to the bathroom. Climbing to the upper level guests will find the remaining two bedrooms. The first of these is a spacious twin bedroom. A great amount of storage is made available by a large built in wardrobe. The third bedroom, a quad bedroom, consists of two single beds and bunk beds hand made by local artisans. This room could provide the ideal hideaway for the kids (or adults!) of the group. Again, a built in wardrobe provides further storage space. The upper level of the apartment is served by a large family bathroom with bath and integrated shower, sink with vanity unit, towel radiator and WC.
The apartment boats a large balcony perfectly positioned in a secluded corner of the development. The position gives a real sense of privacy as you gaze out over the surrounding peaks and distant old farmhouses and the local Chateau and its gardens. Relax and watch the glorious sun set after a busy day in the mountains from this setting. The balcony is furnished with a large table and chairs as well as a high quality gas BBQ meaning outside dining in the hot summer months is a must!

The Chardons Argentes residence is located in a fantastic position within the village of Samoëns. Offering guests absolute convenience but in a tranquil setting situated at the end of a quiet Samoëns street, Chardons C5 is the perfect year-round holiday destination.
The historic Samoëns village centre is only 300m away, or a flat 5-minute walk. Here, you can enjoy the many shops, bars and restaurants, stroll through the beautiful botanical gardens, or simply admire the ancient buildings around the medieval town square. Don’t forget to visit the bustling Wednesday morning market.
The village tourist office is only 100m away. In the winter months the free and regular ski buses leave from just 50m away, taking you to the main Grand Massif Express lift and access to our impressive ski domain in a matter of minutes. Samoëns’ newly built ice skating rink is also a mere 150m stroll from the property, offering guests another favourite winter pastime.
In the summer, a short 400m walk will take you to the beautiful Bois Aux Dames lakes and leisure facilities. Make the most of the weather and enjoy the summer pool, tennis courts, golf driving range, horse riding, fishing and more. The Grand Massif Express lift is also open throughout July and August, allowing guests access to the ample walking trails, adventurous downhill mountain biking terrain, and not to mention stunning scenery of the mountains in summer.
A large supermarket is situated just a short 2-minute drive from Chardons C5. Alternatively, you can walk to it in about 10-minutes. Just next-door to the supermarket is Samoëns’ River Bowl, a bowling alley with restaurant and bar that’s open year-round.

A lovely restful week spent enjoying ourselves in Haute-Savoie. The apartment was great for us all, and the balcony and evening/afternoon sun a brilliant bonus, listening to beautiful birdsong. We love Samoens and a drive up to the end of the valley - 'Cirque du Fer a Cheval' - was a stunning picnic spot. Fantastique!

We had a marvellous time. Weather was very sunny and the snow was even good in the afternoon. We are used to March skiing, in the morning ‘on ice’ and in the afternoon ‘in water’. This year was completely different. The apartment is very comfortable and the beds are good, we all slept well. Thank you for letting us use your home.
