Frequently Asked Questions

Arrival - On arrival please call the number emailed to you before arrival and we will meet you at the property with the keys and information you require.

Arrival Time - Our standard check in time is 17:00 and check out time is 10:00.  If you plan to arrive earlier than 17:00 and we know your arrival time at least one week before you are due in resort, we will do our best to get the property ready earlier if possible.

Keys - We give you the keys when we meet you at the property on arrival.  You then return the keys to us on check out.

Lift Passes - We can pre-order Grand Massif adult, child or senior lift passes in advance of your stay and give them to you at check in (Discounted by 5%) - please visit our Lift Pass page for more information.

Linen - All linen, towels and tea towels are included.

Ski Hire - Our recommended suppliers are those nearest your accommodation or offering the best service and all offer significant discounts to our guests.  You do not need to pre-order. More information on our Equipment Hire page.

Ski Lessons - Essential to pre-book. Please visit our Ski Lesson page.

Snow Chains - Snow chains are a legal requirement on all alpine roads during the winter.

Supermarkets Opening Times - Please visit our Samoens and Morillon information pages.

Towels - All linen, towels and 2 tea towels are included.

Welcome items included in the accommodation - When you arrive, there is a welcome basket containing milk, tea, coffee, croissants, jam, biscuits, wine and juice.  There is also a starter pack of washing up liquid, bin liners and washing powder.  Plus we provide Molton Brown toiletries in the bathrooms and cleaning products.

WiFi - Many of our chalets and apartments are equipped with WiFi and this is outlined in the property descriptions.

Babysitters - If you require a recommended babysitter, please let us know as soon as possible or contact the Tourist Office directly.  They can be difficult to source last minute so we need as much notice as possible.

Cars - Samoens and Morillon are easy to get around and a car is not necessary in the majority of our chalets and apartments. However some properties do require a car as they are out of the village centre or not on the ski bus route.  The property description will outline if a car is required.

Cots and High Chairs - Are available in all properties for a rental fee of 15 Euros for both, for the duration of the booking. We do not provide linen for the cot, but do provide an additional towel.

Departure - On arrival we will confirm a check out time with you normally around 10:00. Sometimes there may be flexibility to leave later but we will not know this until you arrive.

Driving Directions - These can be down loaded from the Samoens Getting There page or the Morillon Getting There page depending on which village you are staying.

Hair Dryers - All of our properties contain a hair dryer.

Option or holding properties - We have a live booking system and are not able to hold properties or put on an 'option'. Therefore recommend you make the online booking as soon as you have confirmation from your party.

Pets - Alps Accommodation does not accept pets during summer or winter seasons.
