Chalet Moccand in Samoens

This spacious and stylish chalet can be offered either self catered or semi catered (prices on request) and offers accommodation for small or large groups of up to 12 or 18 people. Located just a 5 minute walk/300m from the historic centre of Samoens, it is the ideal location for both summer and winter holidays. In winter the free ski bus stops within 50 metres and takes 2 minutes to reach the main express ski lift. Chalet Moccand has an official 4 star rating from the Samoens Tourist Office.
The main chalet sleeps 10/12 in 5 spacious ensuite bedrooms with baths and/or showers. Rooms have mountain views and overlook the private garden, two of which have a balcony where a waterfall can be seen most of the year. There is a large lounge area with 4 big comfy sofas, log fire, large flat LCD TV, satellite TV, DVD's, high spec stereo with iPod connector, wireless internet access, Playstation with games, books and board games. In addition there is a spacious dining area which can be arranged to seat up to 18. For larger groups, the chalet can be joined with 3 bedroom Apartment Moccand, making the entire chalet sleep up to 18 and providing a second living area and kitchen facilities. The chalet bedrooms consist of 3 doubles a quad and a twin room, however slight alterations can be made to this configeration if required. As an exclusive supplier of Molton Brown toiletries, you will receive a selection of their products in each bathroom. A guest hairdryer is also provided.
The chalet can be offered as self catered or semi catered (prices on request) including breakfast daily with a 3/4 course meal on 3 nights of your stay. Our evening meals are served with complimentary quality wines. We can provide children with an early tea, so parents can sit back and relax during the meal. Please view our sample menus. During the summer, we are also happy to offer B&B. |

The chalet is set in it's own grounds, with a large sunny garden and ample private parking. In the summer there is plenty of space for outside dining and BBQ's in the shade of the mature apple trees.
The chalet benefits from a superb 4.5m/15 foot long swim spa. Great for swimming or relaxation. One end is a jacuzzi with seating, jets and bubbles, while the other end has a series of strong jets, which supply an adjustable current for a proper swim. Heated for year round use.
Additional chalet facilities include a heated ski and boot room, secure storage for bikes and equipment, washing machine, tumble dryer, cots and highchairs on request and barbeque.

The chalet is run by Alps Accommodation's resident owners, Tom and Alison Ward-Lee, who are here to provide you with an excellent holiday experience. Our prices include our premier services.
